Terra lifted his head from the sketch book in surprise when he heard the door opening, followed by Lu Yizhou whose eyes softened considerably as soon as they laid upon him. Like always, his heartbeat fluttered uncontrollably and he found himself bashful for no reason. He shut the sketch book which he had been doodling on, slipped it beneath his pillow and cleared his throat. W—What was he doing here? Not that Terra didn't want to spend some time together but… but Kai and Doctor Wyatt seemed to have a serious problem to talk about. Terra had thought that Kai wouldn't come again today.
(Terra definitely wasn't sulking because he had been left out.)
"Sorry." Lu Yizhou said as soon as he sat on the side of the bed and tucked the strands of hair behind Terra's ears. "Have I made you wait?"
