Days turned into weeks.
The people were confused, they'd never experienced a phenomenon like this. Three weeks of consistent rain. Gradually, the gentle light grey clouds turned into a thick bluish-grey layer of ocean in the sky.
Eventually… their hope faded away as they knew the sunshine would never return to this bustling city.
They say it was a God behind this depression. Aquarius they called him. No one saw him but they felt his presence. Violent yellow lightning he struck down. Heavy thunder erupting in the sky. He was a plague.
On the forth week of my exploration, I looked up to the sky out on the once busy thoroughfare. Everyone locked indoors. The time of day was early yet the sky told me otherwise. Ominous black clouds; water plummeting down. There was no longer puddles to splash in, only pools of streaming water that couldn't be contained.
Aquarius was in control. Seeing the people living in sorrow was his sweet joy. Maybe he had a grudge on the city or it's people. Who knows… There had to be a reason behind his motive.
I clenched my fist pledging to assist Gariten and it's residents.
One thing was certain. The sunshine locked away would return to the city today…
