It was dusk, and the sun was just about to go down. A teenage boy was looking out at his neighborhood on top of his school building, watching everyone walking by with tears in his eyes and a small black plush pig in his hand. "Sorry SIr Pig, I don't think this world was meant for me. I hope...never mind." he said as he stepped closer to the edge of the building. He looked at his phone to see a picture of his mom and little brother, his only regret that he was going to leave them for good, and puts the pig down with his phone and turned around before leaning backwards to fall. His life flashed in what seemed like an instant, his family and friends, and all the memories he made while traveling Shamballah. It was all mystically blissful. However he was giving it all up, just to escape his inner pain. He then felt something on his arm, but didn't know what it was, nor did he care. He opened his eyes so see that someone had grabbed his arm, and that he didn't fall at all, the person was trying to pull him back up. "Hey man, what are you doing? You trying to get yourself turned into a chalk out line or is this an attempt to fly. Spoiler alert, there's a thing called summoning." he said in a sort of joking manner, but the teenager wasn't laughing. A girl came over and helped pull him up. "You know, this isn't what I'd call a good afterschool activity. What's your name anyway guy, I think I seen you before." she said. The boy replied that his name was Travis Grant. After getting pulled up, Travis just looked at his phone, seeing that he got a message from his mom about dinner, to which he replied that he wanted burgers and fries tonight. The other two that were there were waiting for Travis to look up at them, but instead they were forced backwards by a shockwave. "Go away. Take your pictures and go." he said, seeming monotone. The girl got closer and gestured her hand to slide open a hole in the barrier, and tried helping Travis up. He just slapped her hand away, and continued to avoid looking at them. "I get you not trusting us. Now I remember, you're the kid that keeps getting bullied by those idiotic jock bitches. Sorry man, we tried...I mean..okay there's no real explanation to it but we're sorry. Just, please try to-" she was cut off with a blast of fire coming at her that she had to dodge from. The other boy walked over and tried giving him a hug, but he was blasted back as well. "I don't care about your excuse! Just leave me alone, you're just the same as everyone else. I don't need friends, and I don't need your pathetic pity." Travis said as he ran off home. The pair looked at him run off, and thought of an idea to apologize.
The next day, Travis got a letter from the principal about a club that was made in his name. It was the Esoteric Practice Club, and that it only had 3 confirmed members, named Gryphon Hail and Elsa Raven. Travis went to an empty room and saw them both there, and remembered them from yesterday. They both smiled when he showed up, but Travis slammed the door and walked away from them, going to class. Gryphon and Elsa ran after him and explained why they made the club, but Travis didn't believe them and kept walking. Then Elsa noticed the bullies Travis ran into every day, and decided to do something to help, so she made it so they wouldn't touch him. She went up to them and gripped the leader's wrist tightly. "Hey boys, listen, this guy is off limits. He's with me and Gryphon, and you already know not to mess with us. Now, leave him be, or else." she said, but the boys just laughed. One of them tried going for a punch, but Gryphon had already stopped it and gave Travis a thumbs up, much to his surprise. Elsa then gave Travis a small charm bag with a gem inside for his plush pig, smiling and rubbing it's nose while the group of boys then fused into one large golem. Elsa then seemingly grabbed onto the air like it was a bag and whipped the golem around very easily and slammed them on the ground, causing the body to de-fuse in anger that they were getting beat by a goth girl. A teacher, who seemed to be dressed like a lion, stopped the fighting, which made Travis upset and start to leave. The teacher stopped him and knelt down, and asked what was wrong. "What's wrong is that all of a sudden now you get involved! Get away from me!" he yelled and ran away from his teacher. The teacher wasn't angry, but sad that he overlooked the pain Travis was in, and went to find him with Gryphon and Elsa. They looked all around but didn't see him, with Elsa fearing the worst, but found him sitting outside in the courtyard sitting in a fetal position and tears dripping from his face. Elsa went to sit next to him, hugging him close and letting him cry out his negative emotions. Gryphon and the teacher saw them and waited for them to come back in. Another student was looking in secret, and also started to tear up while looking at Travis.
After a few minutes, Travis was asleep in Elsa's lap, still clutching his plush pig, so she carried him into the empty club room, making sure he wasn't awoken. The teacher decided to be the club's monitor and keep it from being disbanded. They would also be doing their school work and learning in the room so they wouldn't have to go in and out all the time, and only leave during lunch, the end of school, and afterschool programs. Gryphon decided that they needed at least a couple more members, and that Travis should decide since he was the leader. Travis slept, not knowing that the gem his pig had, was glowing for some reason.
