[Stephanie]
My first sexual encounter with Arthur became the most relaxing experience I've had since I was reborn. I closed my eyes and smiled, unconsciously falling asleep.
Then I had a bizarre and quite vivid dream.
In my dream, Patrick had awakened.
"Pat, you're awake! Are you all right?" I didn't know where I was, but I was still excited to see Patrick standing in front of me and hugged my brother tightly.
He gently patted my back and said to me, "Steph, let's go. Go get revenge."
In just a breath, he was already leading me towards Demon Forest Pack territory and standing in front of Carl's house.
Patrick's eyes seemed to be lit up with two flames. A fireball suddenly flew out of his hand and ignited Carl's home.
I stood outside the house that was rapidly being swallowed by fire. Before I could figure out why I was doing this, the flames had obeyed my command and quickly attacked Demon Forest. The forest quickly turned into a flaming sea.
I looked down at my hands carefully, wondering how I could manipulate the flames.
Patrick took my hands in his and told me, "Steph, it's an ability we were born with. It's not the time to talk about it. The killers are still alive."
I followed his gaze toward the burning house where Carl and Freya ran out of, both of them wearing only their underwear. They hadn't had time to make it to the last step yet? I grunted contemptuously.
Patrick grabbed Freya's blonde hair with just one hand, and I didn't even see how he was moving. He dragged Freya to my face and put his foot on her head.
"Don't, Patrick, I'm your mate. I was forced to do everything by Carl and Triton. I know I'm wrong." Freya struggled on the floor, trying to get Patrick to let her go.
"I, Patrick J Woodville, hereby, reject you, Freya Wilton, as my mate. "Patrick's voice sent a shiver down my spine.
"I, please... I.. .do... .do... Freya Wilton, a.. ...accept your rejection." Freya bit down hard on her lip. She seemed to want to reject Patrick's rejection, but she couldn't control her mouth and couldn't say Don't.
Patrick's lips kept moving silently. My eyes widened as I realized that he was controlling Freya's lips, forcing her to accept the rejection he offered. The moment Freya refused, Patrick's hands became fists, and her arms were clasped behind her back by a mysterious force, like a lamb in waiting, completely powerless to resist.
"What the fuck is going on here?" Carl's arms flailed up and down, unable to believe the scene in front of him.
"Dad!" he shouted to the house on fire behind him.
It's too late to call your dad, puppy. Get down on your knees and beg me! I reached out my index finger again and pointed at Carl, who was on his knees, unable to move, just as I had just thought in my mind.
"Mr. Davis! Help."
Carl shouted another name I had never heard before. I looked up and didn't see anyone coming out of the burning house. The Demon Forest behind the house was completely consumed by flames.
"Steph, please, I love you. I'm wrong. Please don't kill me." Carl kept his eyes wide open, lips quivering, and forehead covered in perspiration.
He was begging me for mercy, using the three heaviest words in the world-I love you. But those three words coming out of his mouth would just sound cheap to me.
Shut up! I slapped Carl's mouth. It became a bloody mess.
The thrill of revenge made me temporarily lose the ability to think. I wanted him to experience the pain of being stabbed in the heart with a dagger. Just then, a wisp of red breath suddenly appeared and turned into a bloody red dagger. It plunged precisely into Carl's heart without giving him a chance to escape.
A piercing scream broke into my ears. Blood dripped from beneath Carl's body, illuminated in crimson by the flames in the darkness, like a bloody firework symbolizing my victory. Beautiful, but this firework wasn't big enough.
"Louder! Feel the pain I went through when you killed me." I raised the corner of my mouth, admiring Carl's ugly face as he fell to the ground struggling to pull the dagger from his chest.
"No. I haven't done anything to you yet." Carl's teeth chattered, his face already wet with his tears.
"AH!!!!" Freya's scream came from my left front.
Patrick had caused her limbs to twist backward beyond the maximum arc that the human body can accept to bend backward. She was twisted into an O-shape on the ground.
"Steph, what did this bitch do to you when she killed you?" Patrick asked me.
I didn't doubt why Patrick knew they killed me in my last life and observed Freya. Her delicate face was covered in dust and tears. Her pink lips had already turned pale. I had no sympathy whatsoever.
"She twisted the silver magic dagger in my heart and thrust two silver arrows into my wrists."
"How dare you!?" Patrick roared and swung his arm again.
Freya's body was again dragged to Carl by an unknown force. She reached out her soft and snowy white hand and gripped the dagger in Carl's chest, even though it was not her will.
"AHHHH-" Carl screamed at the top of his lungs, eyes squeezed shut after the dagger had been twisted 90°.
This was followed by Freya's groan of pain. I lowered my hands expressionlessly, allowing the two bloody arrows I had created to impale each of Freya's wrists, pinning her to the ground.
"Two arrows don't seem enough, Steph," Patrick reminded me and cocked his head to look at Freya, who was shaking her head in pain on the ground.
"You're right." I produced another bloody dagger and plunged it into Freya's heart.
Without more screams of pain, Freya died with just one cry.
Patrick narrowed his eyes, disappointed. "What a useless omega."
"Carl, it's a good thing you're an Alpha's kid. At least you have time to play an enjoyable game with us, right?" Patrick turned to Carl as if viewing a toy. He pointed at Carl's heart.
The dying Carl suddenly coughed, and the wound around his heart was miraculously recovering. However, the bloody dagger in his heart was still there.
"What are you doing?" I yelled at Patrick in annoyance.
Patrick had no emotion in his eyes as he gave Carl an evil smile, "Steph, you know what? They didn't kick me off the cliff. I found out they betrayed you, and I went after them. As a result, I was injected with a mixture of wolfsbane and mistletoe by them."
"What?" My eyes widened, and I wondered if my hearing was normal. Why would Patrick remember his past life? No, that wasn't the point. The point was Patrick said he didn't die from falling off a cliff.
"The toxins quickly attacked my organs and brain. But a magical force inside me was fighting the toxins to keep me awake. At that time, they tied me up. The rope's other end was tied to a tree's trunk next to the cliff. Carl said it was a yo-yo game. Then the rope broke. Now I want to play this game with him, too."
"Patrick, what are you talking about? Freya and I only went to the cliffs at Mt. Leyte yesterday afternoon and this morning. We didn't see you at all." Regaining consciousness, Carl argued under his breath after hearing Patrick's words.
"Shut the fuck up!" I flung my palm angrily, and all the teeth in Carl's mouth were knocked out.
Patrick lifted his finger, and Carl's teeth were back in his mouth. But judging from the look of Carl's mouth open and breathing heavily, the pain of losing all his teeth was still tormenting him.
Since my brother wanted to play this game with Carl, I would definitely grant his wish. I reached out two fingers, conjured up a red rope, and tied Carl up.
