Seeing this, both of them looked over as a deep scowl formed on Lucifer's face. The light from the hallway spilled into the dim room as two women walked in, both familiar to Daphne.
The one in the front was Aurora, Lucifer's biological mother, and the other one was Calindra Black, who glared at Daphne once she saw her. Lucifer clearly displayed his unhappiness and annoyance from being disturbed, as he tossed the towel onto the bed, using his uninjured arm to arrange Daphne's hair neatly.
Aurora was surprised for a second when she saw this, but she did not ask about it as she was here for a different reason, "I heard you got hurt."
Lucifer lazily lifted his gaze up, eyeing Calindra who looked away. He did not say anything as Aurora did not ask a question, but was stating something. From the bandage around his arm, it was clear that he was injured.
