"Confirmed. Destined owned has been found. Hello, Rhys Zuldroan. I am the spirit of this inheritance left behind by the Great Dragon Swarshlen. My job is to assist you in your endeavor to save the cosmos." A female voice said, the voice sounding directly in Rhy's head.
"Right… so… what now?" Rhys did not know what to do with the ring. So he simply asked it.
"I shall give you the information left behind. Please bear the pain that will assault your head in a short moment." Those words shocked Rhys.
Of course, Rhys had experienced a lot of different types of pains. So he thought it wouldn't be that bad. The first time he got the memories he screamed in pain due to not being prepared, but now he knew. So he prepared.
Crackle!
Like lighting, the information was transferred into his head, engraved into his mind so it could not be forgotten. During this time Rhys clenched his teeth, his body full of sweat as his breathing was heavy.
It took ten minutes for the information to stop, the moment it did Rhys started to look at it.
The amount of information surprised Rhys, as well as all the magical things he was experiencing.
Before being captured as a lab rat, he had read cultivation and magic novels. He was too young back then to understand, but now the information he had learned back then was slowly making it easy for him to understand.
'Cultivation. This is all real, not a dream.'
With those thoughts, Rhys started to look into the new information in his head.
Rhys saw a memory of Swarshlen, the handsome man, fighting a huge being, from beginning to end. He even saw his sacrifice. Rhys now had an idea of both the power of his enemy, as well as who he was.
Rhys was very shocked, scared, and annoyed that he had to fight such a being. But it was too late for him.
He also received other information, such as some knowledge in formations, alchemy, and swordsmanship. Swarshlen had foreseen Rhy's death and his arrival, therefore he prepared the best of the best to help him succeed.
He got some basic information about the worlds, species, as well as his new race.
He already knew about his race, but it shocked him how it came to be.
'Incest… I see. According to my memories, it is not rare in the family. I can also see that other families do this. I guess they care about their bloodlines…'
Rhys was stupid, he had lived over ten years in a lab. But the knowledge from the original Rhys and the one he got helped him make sure he knew about all of this. Hell, even emotions were something rare for him. He only experienced pain, grief, fury, and sadness.
'A special hybrid race between spirits, dragons, phoenixes, and elves.' Rhys muttered, it was good that he was a direct descendant, therefore all human blood was gone. They made sure that only the four original bloodlines remained and everything else was gone. Cosmic energy, the energy of life, nurtured the children to make sure there were no birth defects.
Now, the Onniano were a special race within the world. Their bloodline purity was low, but their strength and abilities were high.
Rhys calmed himself down and sat on the bed he had woken up in. Before turning his eyes to the jade ring.
"What are you?" He asked right away.
"I am Ina, a spirit created to help you in your journey." The spirit ring replied, making Rhys sigh.
"You weren't here before, so why now?"
"Lord Swarshlen left a note for his wives to give this ring to someone named 'Rhys.' His wives never told anyone, so when you were born the ring was handed to you secretly by their ancient spirits. Once I was with you I hid, as the conditions for my activation were: "The death of Rhys."' Each of the words spoken by Ina made Rhys understand Swarshlen had planned it all out.
Of course, he wasn't perfect. He could only do so much, so he made sure to help Rhys by having multiple treasures, techniques, and knowledge. But that was it, everything else was up to Rhys to do.
"I see. So what did he leave behind, you are a spatial ring, no?" Those words made Rhys's cosmic energy move towards the ring, activating it and making him see what was inside.
"Indeed, money, techniques, weapons, treasures, knowledge. I have it all inside of me, left by Lord Swarshlen. He hoped this might help you. Also, according to my knowledge, there is blood essence from his wives and himself. Which will be transferred slowly to you. Awakening your bloodlines completely and allowing you to become stronger." Ina said, her beautiful voice calming Rhys down.
"Blood essence? How long would it take for it to fully transfer into my body?" Rhyss' question made Ina ponder.
"Depends on your cultivation. All I can tell you is that the stronger you are the quicker. Every time your bloodline reaches a twenty percent point it will make visible changes appear on your body." Ina's voice replied, making Rhys frown.
"So… it's all up to me. I should be around a Mid-True King cultivator. Considering the standards of this high world it is low…" Rhys muttered, he knew he was too weak.
"Indeed, the powerhouses in this world are Heavenly or even Celestial Saints. You are behind, do keep in mind each realm had a difference in power of two times." Ina agreed with Rhys.
Considering that there are four levels in every realm, then Rhys's talent was above average. Since everyone, his age would be around a Mortal Lord cultivator. He was only one major realm above them.
His four bloodlines were too low, his talent above average. The only good thing would be his looks.
"Shit… this is bad," Rhys muttered, low talent meant he would take longer to get stronger.
"Yes. But worry not, with the cultivation techniques and the bloodline essence that will soon start to be transferred over to you will make your talent increase. Lord Swarshlen has foreseen this after all." Ina comforted Rhys, making him, for the first time in his life since he was captured, smile.
"Thank you," Rhys muttered.
Rhys was a youth broken by the cruelty he had experienced, that would take time to heal. But small steps at a time.
Slowly but surely his wounds healed, as he became a better person. Although he would most likely act cold to those he did not know, the memories inside him at least made sure he would act nicely to his family, that is his sister and mother.
'Ina, I will sleep. I am tired, I will also use this time to look over all of my memories.' Rhys said in his head, Ina made an 'mhm' sound as acknowledgment.
Rhys never looked at all of his memories only some, so he would use this time to see how he died, why he died, as well as his standing in the clan.
As Rhys laid down on his bed and closed his eyes to think, in a different part of the clan something interesting happened.
A mature woman with blonde hair sat, she wore a golden loose robe that made her seem more charming, yet all the men made sure not to look at her, they ignored her and if one looked closely they would see sweat building upon their faces. They were afraid of this woman.
Bam!
The door in the conference room was pushed open, where a beautiful lady with blonde hair entered, her golden eyes shining and her well-developed body enchanting all the youths in the room.
"My daughter, why have you disturbed our meeting?" The woman everyone seemed to look away from spoke, her voice was not cold, although it sounded cold to others, it was filled with affection towards the young lady that had entered.
"My brother has woken up. I felt his cosmic energy signature inside his room, so I came to tell you." The young lady's voice was sweet, making others want to hear it more.
"I see, you heard her. I will be going now." The mature woman spoke as she got up and walked away with her daughter.
Her big and soft buttocks swung from side to side as she walked. Making the men gulp and the women inside feel innate jealousy.
The moment they left, they all continued like normal, the atmosphere calmer than before, when the woman was inside.
――
Steps echoed outside of Rhy's room as they got louder, signifying they were getting closer.
At the moment Rhys had woken up already, although he slept for twenty minutes, that was more than enough to look through his memories. He now knew why he was killed.
Jealousy was the reason. Making Rhys laugh inwardly. If before he was a foolish, inexperienced person, nor he was at least mature and had enough knowledge to know why. All thanks to the memories he got from the original Rhys and the memories that Ina transferred.
As Rhys was about to stretch the doors opened. It was a very awkward scene, since Rhys was naked, his body on full display. That was how he had woken up, naked. He did not bother to put clothes on. After all, this is supposed to be his own room, no one should be barging in.
That was his mistake since from the newly arranged memories he saw his sister has the tendency to barge into his room. Alas, it was too late.
He saw both a mature woman and young lady look at him, the latter fluster, while the former had a small smile on her face. Clearly not caring about the sight.
They were his mother and sister. Well, he did not feel shame either. Sure his body grew a bit hot from their stares, but that was it. Nothing more, after all, Rhys had never been in such a situation, even though in his memories he knew he shouldn't be naked in front of women he felt no shame.
"Ah!~" His sister screamed like a little girl and covered her face with her hands, even then she continued to peak through her fingers. His mother on the other hand didn't seem to care, she was the one who bathed him and birthed him.
There was nothing she had not seen.
"Mother?.. Sister?" Rhys asked, those words were unfamiliar to him, yet his body and soul felt comfortable saying them. It was as if was natural.
This was when Rhys felt warmth for the first time in his soul.
'Is this the warmth of having someone you love? Someone to care about you?' Rhys had truly never experienced such a feeling, yet he felt… good. He liked the feeling, he felt happy just looking at the two women.
"C-cover yourself!" His sister, who is named Ailin spoke. While his mother, Edea, nodded as well.
Rhys did as he was told, on his left hand was a metal spatial ring, inside were a lot of clothes as well. He immediately took them out and wore them.
He now had on a golden robe, making Rhys look handsome and charming.
"Rhys, why were you found passed out in the forest?" Edea, his mother, asked him, walking closer to him and touching his cheek with her soft arm. Clearly, she was worried about him.
"I overworked my body, so I passed out…" Rhys lied, his body told him not to tell the truth, and he didn't.
The reality of all this was that he was attacked and poisoned.
Rhys usually went out in the forest to train by killing beasts. But someone attacked him and poisoned him, which knocked him out and later killed the original Rhys.
The poison was a soul-type of poison, which got rid of the actual soul. Which gave him the chance to transmigrate.
Yet he wouldn't tell Edea that. Rhys knew he was killed by one of the clan member youths who lusted after Ailin, she was a natural beauty because of her bloodline purity and her position in the family. Being a direct descendant like himself meant he had the bloodline of all three of Swarshlen wives, making her beauty outshine the other women who weren't direct descendants. Unlike him who only had the blood of two of his wives, the spirit bloodline was in a deep slumber.
The original Rhys was killed because it was known how much Ailin cared about Rhys. In a world where family-type relationships are fine, many thought they had something going on. In reality, Ailin just looked up to the man who spent most of the time with her. Although they were twins, Rhys always acted mature and comforted Ailin.
Although at some point Ailin did develop something more for Rhys, Rhys himself never noticed. He was that dense, now the current Rhys with the memories of a Celestial cultivator, Swarshlen, could tell her feelings.
The current Rhys had no feelings, but he could tell deep down in his soul he cared about Ailin and Edea.
It made him want to protect them no matter what, which is why Rhys made it his goal to get more powers and higher bloodline purity before continuing.
He would see how his relationship went on with his new family.
