"Princess is this really necessary," says my childhood friend and bodyguard Akai.
"Yes it is, several Taimanin agents have gone missing in this city due to my order to investigate what's going on here. There is also the fact that we have this Qin running around the same place can't be a coincidence" I answered.
"But don't we already have proof that what he said is true and many of the higher ups are working with demons."
"Yes but that doesn't mean we should fully trust him. After all, we still have no clue to his true goals or objectives and the fact that we haven't found anything on him makes it even more suspicious. And unlike my father I refuse to believe someone would just do this from the goodness of their heart because they want to be a hero."
"But what about that boy that your father named a hero, what was his name again. Ah Haruto, yes Haruto is someone that is pretty selfless and would do good just to be a hero."
"You mean that idiot, he only does those things because of the self-satisfaction he gets when he acts like a hero. It to the point where he sometimes doesn't even fix the problem. He only helps a little and when he realizes he won't appear in the spotlight or the solution involves him doing something that is his idea of heroes then he won't do it. He immediately stops and changes who he helps, only doing enough to stroke his own ego and fooling himself into believing he fixed the problem."
"Really like what?"
"Like when one of his classmates was being mentally abused by his parents. There's no clear cut solution to a problem like that after all, oftentimes the solution is long and grueling. Most times it won't end with everyone smiling and laughing in the end like a hero's story typically ends so he ignores it and only hangs out with him from time to time to make him feel better."
"And how do you know this princess?"
"Because I have someone watching over him along with every person my father gives the title of hero. The only one I don't have someone on is this Qin person and that needs to change."
"I still don't understand why you need to go yourself, can't you just send someone else then?"
"That's what I was originally planning at first but after getting information that the hero is going to transfer into the school that was one of the places that Qin said was used by demon's as a hideout. So I decided that it was safe enough and best if I go myself. After all, what more heroic than protecting a princess in danger."
"Didn't you just call him an idiot?"
"Yes but even an idiot has his uses and it's not like I expect him to give his life to protect me. After all, if he needs to give his life to protect me then he isn't really all that reliable. That's why I brought you along as well as some of the more high ranked Taimanin."
As I say that the car we were riding in stops in front of the school we will be transferring in. Looking around here is the first step in trying to find out what Qin Shi Huang wants to do in our country.
'But it's still weird that he is using the name of the first emperor of China, must be a fake name or something.'
"Well then we're here, let's go meet the principal, she said they would have someone give us a guide to tour the school" said Akai.
"She? Wasn't the principal supposed to be a man?" I asked.
"Yes but remember he was one of mister Qin targets, he must have already taken care of him."
"How did we not know of this? In fact what made the hero believe he was still alive and continuing his work with the demons?"
"It seemed he got information from one of the group of demons working with him, that was planning something in his town. Most likely it was old information and they didn't know the principal was taken care of. As for why we didn't know, it's because everyone that we send here has disappeared."
"It's still weird that we have no clue what happened here, in fact we did they get a new principal. And how did it happen without anyone in the education board thinking it was strange."
As I look around I see the student heading to class as the teacher and student council look over them at the front gate. The school itself looks okay, there's nothing strange or noteworthy about it. It is like any other school in Japan, as we arrived at the principal's office we noticed another group heading there as well.
"Princess, what are you doing here!?" Said the hero Ito Haruto, a little too loud for my liking.
"Hello Haruto I'm transferring into this school" I say with a smile on my face. Causing the hero to blush for some reason.
"W-well that's nice but you must be careful something is going on in this school and it's not safe."
"Oh my that sounds dangerous but I'm sure a hero like yourself will take care of it right away."
"Yes princess!"
'Like always so easy to control if you just have a pretty face and act cute. God I hate acting like that but it's necessary at times.'
As I think that I look over to the heroes party and see the person I entrusted to watch over him. She was a half Japanese, half England student that was named Celia Cumani Aintree.
"Nice to see you again princess" she said to me while bowing slightly.
"Yes nice to see you too Celia, now then I think it's best if we don't keep the principal waiting."
"Yes of course princess" says the hero as he opens the door.
"Hello my name is Ito Haruto and I'm the hero."
"Hey, that's not polite, knock first before entering," said his childhood friend. From the information I received she is called Shida Kuroha.
Going inside I saw the new principal, she was a beautiful woman with brown hair and brown eyes.
"Hello I'm the principal of this school, Shiraishi Kanako and this is Qin Shi Huang, the student council president. He will be in charge of giving you the tour."
"I still think giving the blind person the task of leading them through the school grounds isn't the best idea."
"Oh hush up you, it's not like it would be a problem for you. After all, you couldn't be the student council president if being blind stopped you. I'm sure you would be able to accomplish this task."
"Fine"
As I hear the conversation between them I'm shocked to see the man I was ready to spend weeks to find pop up right in front of me. Sitting there on one of the principal's couches without a care in the world. He fits all the details Yamato gave us, the only difference is that he is wearing a student uniform of this school.
"Well then let's get started, by the way this is my maid Shiranui and she will be helping me because you know the whole blind thing" he says as he gets up from the couch and points behind him.
Again I'm left in shock because that's one of the Taimanin agents that went missing in this city.
