Pov. Qin Shi's
I haven't gamed all night since I was a student in my last life. So doing it again with Yukikaze as a date brought back so many memories of late nights playing Monster Hunter, Mario Karts, Super Smash Bros, Halo, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, and Gears of War. Those were good times when I was a child not worried about all of life's problems that an adult has to worry about. Hell I was in my early twenties and life was already finding new ways to fuck me at every corner. Sure they were fun times but that's life for you it gives you a bit of the sweets before force feeding you all the shit.
'Man I really needed that, must remember to do that again.'
"And next time you can invite me" said Lucy as she appeared on my shoulder.
'Now that sounds fun but I wonder if this world has a Monster Hunters equivalent.' That's a great game to play with your girlfriend, while as long as your the type to not get angry over her fucking up after making a mistake because she's new.
"I can't wait"
'First I'll have to find the game so we can play just the two of us.'
"So this is where you are," said Yukikaze as she came down the stairs.
"Just making breakfast, after I'll take you back to base after all it's best you get some sleep."
"Sounds great after all beating you all night got me hungry" she said with a smirk.
Smiling at that I served her breakfast but yeah she beat me badly. Not too surprising after all from her streams it seems she has a 98% headshot rate across the games she plays. So playing a shooter with her wasn't the best idea, my skills are also not what they used to be. After all, when you have a job and responsibilities you'll be lucky to get an hour to play video games most days.
"Then let's make a bet" I said with a smile on my face.
"What kind of bet?" She asked.
"Next time we play the loser will have to make breakfast and do one thing the winner orders them to."
"So you'll be making my breakfast from now on then and do anything I ask of you from now on every time I win. I like the sound of that."
"Well yes as long as you win against me in a game of course. But if you really want then I don't mind making you breakfast every morning from now on without that bet" I said with a smirk.
"That sounds nice but to do that you'll have to live with me" she realized what she was saying. Causing her voice to get smaller as she continued to talk as her face got redder.
"Don't take that the wrong way baka, there's no way I would want to marry you!"
"Who said anything about marriage? I was talking about making breakfast" I said as I chuckled.
"Shut up, baka!" She said with her face blushing, as she started to eat. After finishing up she helped me clean up before we headed back to the base. When we got to base I sent her to her room before heading to see what's going on with Muscle Duke's and Joe's territories.
"Nurarihyon I have a report about the ongoing battle" said a girl wearing a hannya mask.
"You know when we're at base you can just call me by my name Akari, but what is the news of the battles?"
"Yea master Qin, the fighting in Muscle Duke's territory is still ongoing like you wanted. As for Muscle Joe's territory it's been taking over for the most part."
"Good, is there anything else?"
"Yes, we have already taken over Muscle Joe's house and found many pregnant women. They were being forced into getting pregnant before they ripped the fetus out of them."
That got my attention "ripped out of them?" I asked.
"Yes, apparently Muscle Joe kidnapped women or bought them to get them pregnant as well as kidnapping pregnant women to get their fetuses. They seemed to make a game out of it, when we got there they were playing their sick game with a unfortunate slave they bought. Luckily we were somehow able to save the fetus with lord Kenta's help but even with our best efforts we were unable to save her."
"And what has happened to those men working for Muscle Joe?"
"Oni I mean Kana is still in the process of punishing them."
"Really? Now that's an interesting development, I would like to go see how she's punishing them."
"Right away please follow me."
So I followed her to Muscle Joe's mansion, looking around inside I saw that it was decorated with the finest things money can buy. Many of the furniture had gold incorporated into it, painting lined the hallways, and things that looked like antiques were all over the place.
'Looks like I'm going to make a lot of money this time. If I remember right, Duke's family was a aristocrate at one point but had to flee to Yomihara to survive and they brought their wealth with them.'
As we entered the basement I saw walls lined with jars containing fetuses in them. Body's of women were left laying around like they were trash. Some of the healthier looking one's looked like they had their organs harvested, the malnourished one's had missing legs or hands with bruises all over their body. It was a truly distasteful scene created by a distasteful man.
"You better make his punishment good or else" said Lucy looking at the scene.
'Don't worry I have plans for him and they just keep getting worse as time goes on.'
"Here is where Oni is punishing the man," said Hannya.
Opening the door the first thing I see is Kana shoving a heated red mace up a man's ass causing him to scream so loud it broke like an old doll half way through. From his body language it looked like he was still screaming but nothing was coming out of his mouth. Kana suddenly yanked the mace out, she looked at the man before using magic to heat up the mace, burning the flesh and shit stuck on it.
"Heal him again" she said as the other girls did as she asked.
Looking around I see several naked men with their dicks and balls cut off. In the corner of the room there's a small pile of dead men in a similar condition only their assholes looked like they have been repeatedly mutilated.
'You know it's surprising how I'm not disturbing by this in the least.'
"Not too surprising after all your time in hell as well as Qin Shi Huang's memory's have really affected you. But more importantly Kana really learns fast, I mean she's only seen you do that once and she already added her own twist to it" said Lucy.
'Well what can I say, she has a excellent teacher.'
"True, you do some excellent work."
"Nurarihyon you're here, would you like to punish them as well?" Said Kana when she finally noticed me.
"No, no you're doing an excellent job yourself. You finish up here while I look around" I said before turning around and walking to the exit.
"Yes Nurarihyon, make sure his voice is healed as well. I want to hear him scream" I heard her say from behind me.
"You go and do your thing, I'm going to stay and watch. I think I just found a new recruit" said Lucy.
'Do as you please'
As I look around I see many disturbing things in the basement. But it didn't affect me as much as I thought it would, hell even when I killed that kid it affected me a little bit. But I just don't feel anything other than pity for the woman. I guess because Qin Shi has seen similar scenes when he was conquering China, he even came across some cannibals eating a baby. Off course he killed them all quickly but that was only one fucked up situation he came across in his war to rule China. As I stand over what seems to be a pit that's full of dead bodies of women I think of all the lives wasted just so one fucktared can get a fit body.
"Sad isn't it"
Turning around quickly after hearing a voice but failing to notice someone beside me only to see death.
"No matter how many times I see a situation like this it always brings me great sadness. And I've seen many situations like this but I keep doing my job so I can try to bring a little peace to these poor soul's" said death.
'Yes it is indeed a sad'
"Unfortunately I have a job to do" he said as he tapped his scythe to the floor causing a whole bunch of ghosts to appear. All of them were women. Some of them looked like some of the bodies in the pit. As I look at them I see some of them are crying, others are screaming at death but I don't hear anything, and a small number are huddled around a dead body.
"Yes it is unfortunate what happened to you but don't be saddened after all even in despair there can be hope" said death as he talked to the ghost.
"Please after you" said death as he pointed in the direction that the women were huddled around. As I hesitate to walk on women's corpses I see the women look like they're begging me to go as they point in the direction. One of the women that came running from the direction got on her hands and knees to beg me, putting her head on the floor.
"It's all right they are allowing you to walk over them" said death.
As I start walking over their bodies and get closer to the direction I see a woman very different to all the other ghosts. She was wearing a yellow robe, had blue skin, with blue hair that looked like it had stars in it, and had one of those mage circles on her head. As she was facing forward she didn't notice me because whatever she was doing was taking her full construction.
"Hello life" said death.
"Ah death I guess I lost this round" said life.
"You know I don't like to win as much as you do."
"I know but whenever I see a life end before it even starts it is always hard. Even though I have seen it countless times before."
"Well it looks like we will both be happy today."
"Excuse me" I say as I pass by life to see the body of a pregnant woman that seems to have just given birth with the baby right by her body. It had very little life left in it so I picked it up carefully holding its head before I started using reverse cursed technique on it to heal it as much as I can. Feeling more life force in him I look at his mother's body with a huge stab wound on her stomach.
"She stabbed herself in a way that missed the baby so they would think she killed it. As she was thought to be worthless now and going to die anyways they tossed her here leaving her for dead. But with the last of her strength she gave birth. It was a gamble she was willing to take hoping her baby will somehow make it out alive" said death.
"Well looks like you won this gamble" I said while looking at the mother's ghost. As she looked at me and said something I couldn't hear.
"She said please give him a name and look after him" said life.
"Don't worry I look after him as if he was my own son. As for the name, I think I'll call him Guts. After a man that would live through anything and keep walking forward, even if it's hell itself."
