Chapter 6 - Chapter 6

Everyone looked up at Kyoshi, acknowledging his presence.

"He's a relatively new demon and someone I hold interest in so treat him nicely." Muzan said.

"Yes master Muzan." They said in unison.

"Dismissed."

In an instant they all vanished. Muzan looked over to the woman with long, silky black hair that covered her face. She wore a black kimono and was holding some type of instrument.

"Nakime." Muzan said and with the stroke of the strings Muzan and Kuoshi vanished from the place, leaving her there alone.

Kyoshi and Muzan reappeared in some alleyway in a city. They walked from the alleyway and the light hit them. The street lights, the lights from buildings, lantern lights, etc. They made the place as bright as day. As Kyoshi was looking around the place with big eyes they suddenly dimmed.

An image flashed across his mind and he seemed to space out with his smile slowly fading from his face.

"Kyoshi." Muzan called as he was ahead of Kyoshi. He stopped and looked back at him before putting his hand out. Kyoshi's eyes gained clarity and he shuffled over to Muzan and took his hand.

"Where are we going?" Kyoshi asked, but in a less excited tone than Muzan expected.

"We're going to my place to give you a little check-up." Muzan answered.

"I thought demons couldn't get sick or diseases though." Kyoshi responded.

"There's something in our body that can cause us to weaken. It's not particularly a disease, more so a cause of failed mutation in RC cells."

"What are RC cells?"

"I'll tell you when we get home. Remember humans don't like demons. Especially the strong ones like me and you, Habuki and Keiko. They loathe us, but we'll figure something out eventually." Muzan said aloud.

'We just have one weakness to conquer." He thought.

Kyoshi just nodded his head and continued walking with Muzan through the streets. Their looks gained them attention and although they did look handsome and cute, it was more or less because of how pale they looked. They seemed sickly pale like they were freshly printed paper.

Either way, they didn't mind much. Kyoshi was already becoming homesick and missing Habuki and Keiko, but he wanted to spend some more time with Muzan. This guy did save him and give him his first taste of security after what happened to him.

He looked up to Muzan as a role model and kinda as a parent or second uncle.

Finally they started walking towards a kinda secluded area and after taking a quick glance around the place they walked through a wall. Right on the other side of it was a Japanese style mansion.

"Woah." Kyoshi said with wide eyes.

"Follow me." Muzan said as he led Kyoshi through the path and to the front door. He opened it and they walked in, took their shoes off and continued into the house.

They made a right turn around the corner and opened a door that led to some stairs. Kyoshi silently followed Muzan down the stairs till they were in what looked like a basement. A big basement.

Walking around the stairs you'd be in a wide hallway.

To the left and right of you there would be a total of 6 doors. They went to the left and opened the first door and walked tight in. The room looked like a nursing room. There was a bed made up nicely with white blankets and sheets along with white pillows that seemed like clouds.

Across the room, adjacent to the bed was a desk. There was a cup of pens on it and the desk was clean with a chair pulled into it. There were 4 drawers on each side so 8 in total and the room was pretty simple.

A shelf for books at the feet of the bed and that was basically it.

"Go sit on the bed." Muzan said as he walked in. Kyoshi nodded and walked into the room before sitting down. Muzan followed him in and took a seat in the chair and rolled closer to face Kyoshi.

"Do you remember when you said some about your eyes changing from time to time?" He asked.

"Oh yeah, they turn into some weird thing when I'm relaxed, but I turned them like this." He said pointing to his cat-like ash gray eyes.

"Make them normal for me." Muzan said.

Kyoshi did so and his eyes reverted into him having pitch black sclera, a tomato red irises with glowing red veins that spread across his eyes and into the skin surrounding his eyes.

Muzan's eyebrows raised slightly as he looked at Kyoshi's eyes.

"How do you feel?" He asked.

"Umm, I can feel my blood flowing faster and I feel…stronger. I can see everything way better than before like these little floaty bugs in the air." Kyoshi stated.

"I see." Muzan rolled back to his desk and took out a journal from one of his desk drawers and began sketching out Kyoshi's eyes while also writing what he just heard.

"Do you know if you can do anything with it or if it changes you biologically?" He asked.

"Bio-what?" Kyoshi asked with a tilted head.

"When you activate your eyes does anything change in your body?"

"I don't know. When we found out about the eye we just thought it was normal since most demons have different features once they turn." Kyoshi answered.

Muzan nodded his head slightly and opened up his drawers again and took out four glass vials.

"I'll need to take some of your blood." Muzan said.

"What're we gonna do with it?" Kyoshi asked as he took two vials that were put out for him.

He made a cut open on his finger and made his blood flow into it. He did the same thing for the second vial and gave them back to Muzan who filled the other two with his own blood.

There was already a visible difference between vials of Muzan and Kyoshi. Kyoshi's blood was brighter, like some light was inside the blood. Muzan's was much darker, it was still red, but you can tell it was thicker and probably had a higher concentration of RC cells.

Muzan took the vials and sat them on his desk after putting a cork in them.

"So you haven't done any test with these eyes yet?" He asked for reassurance.

"No, but I do know when I look at something with my eyes like this, I can remember it completely. Like the last book I read last night. I can repeat it word for word now." Kyoshi told him.

A/N: Yes it'll be like the Sharingan, but only like the 3 tomoe. Look up Transparent World and you'll see why I did this. This isn't his Demon Blood Art.

"I see." Muzan said. He stood up and went to the bookshelf, grabbed a random book and flipped to a random page before giving it to Kyoshi.

"Try it with this." He said as he sat back down and grabbed his journal.

Kyoshi barely glanced over the paper before closing the book and reciting every word on the page with perfect punctuation. Muzan wrote this down in his journal and then looked over at Kyoshi who was swinging his legs on the edge of the bed.

"Kyoshi, do you want to help me with some experiments?" Muzan asked.

"Yeah, what'll we be doing?!" Kyoshi agreed with excitement.

"We'll be discovering the power of your eyes to see what else they can do." Muzan said while he rubbed Kyoshi's head.

"Let's do it. I always thought I didn't have blood arts!!" Kyoshi stated.

"All strong demons have blood arts. You definitely have one even if this one isn't it." Muzan said as he stood up. Kyoshi got off the bed before his eyes widened.

"Wait, I have to ask my aunt if I can stay with you for a while and I have to get my clothes and toothbrush." Kyoshi said.

Muzan looked down at him with his hand on Kyoshi's head and barely sighed.

{Kyoshi wanted to know if he can stay with Uncle Muzan for a while. It's okay right?} Muzan asked Keiko telepathically. His tone sounded like he wasn't asking and denying would lead to consequences.

"I can hear you in my head!!" Kyoshi said with wide eyes.

{Um, Yes it's fine. Should we send his stuff?} Keiko replied.

{Aunt Kei is that you. You're in my head too?} Kyoshi exclaimed.

{It's a mental link Kyo.} Keiko replied.

{I'll have Nakime transfer them to me. Just gather enough for a month or so.} Muzan replied.

"Ehh, a month, but I want to see uncle Habuki and Auntie Keiko!!" Kyoshi said with teary eyes.

"We can always make visits." Muzan said, ruffling his hair.

{Come visit anytime Kyo of course you too master Muzan. Me and Habuki will get his stuff together now.} Keiko replied politely.

Muzan cut the mental link and looked down at Kyoshi and his eyes. They were so bizarre and fascinating to him. They were even a bit intimidating to other demons, but not to him. He walked forward with Kyoshi following him as they left the basement.

Demon Slayer HQ

Thwack Thwack Thwack

In the darkness of night, but under the light from the moon was a boy swinging his bokken vigorously at a wooden log. It was quite cold outside, but the boy didn't seem to care as he continued in a thin brown kimono.

The boy had messy brown hair that was put into a ponytail, over his eyes was a black blindfold with a red design on it. Just below the mask you could see the ending of two scars that look to be where eyes would be.

This boy was Seikichi Hazushima, Kyoshi's best friend. When the demon attacked their village and got to Seikichi's house it slaughtered his family and firmly took its time with Seikichi himself. He blinded him and scared his back and left him to "bleed out".

His plan would have succeeded if the clean up crew in the demon slayer corps hadn't come to put the fire out and clear the area. They found him barely alive under some rubble and got him to the medical ward immediately.

The two apprentice demon slayers that didn't check the village and instead only brought Kyoshi's sister back to the HQ were severely reprimanded, especially by Rengoku. After recovering in only a week, which was extraordinary, he pleaded with the Hashira to train him.

The one he decided to train under was
