While Ana gave her monologue, Xasha had long read those memory stones and passed them to Megan for her to read as well. By the time Ana realized, the deed was already done.
"What's wrong?" Xasha asked innocently as he accepted the box from Megan, closed it, then placed it back on Ana's desk.
Ana was fuming mad! She wanted to slap his face until his jaw broke. But she tried to remain calm, clenching her fist so tight the blood drained from them. "Why did you do that?"
"Do what?" Xasha asked, genuinely confused.
"Give all my research to that woman?" Ana said through gritted teeth.
"What woman? You mean my wife?" Xasha raised his eyebrow.
"Yes, your wife. Why did you give my research to your wife?"
"Why can't I share it with her?" Xasha frowned.
"Because she is not my disciple!" Ana raised her voice slightly.
