"No one in particular," Adara responded vaguely.
"Falsehoods! You shouldn't lie to your aunty. It goes against the teachings of the Undying Light," Monroe said jokingly.
Everyone chuckled. Xasha looked at Adara, who was looking everywhere in the room except for where another human being sat. She smiled lightly under his breath but said nothing.
"I do like someone, but I think I'll wait." Adara finally said.
"What are you waiting for?" Monroe asked in an encouraging tone.
"Until I'm old enough to make wiser decisions," Adara said matter-a-factly.
Her statement shocked everyone. No one expected to hear those words from somebody so young. They certainly have never used them themselves. Their gaze now held a newfound appreciation for this golden-eyed, green-haired teenage beauty.
"Did your parents not meet when they were 16? You're older than that now," Megan retorted.
