Lili woke up to find herself wrapped up in her father's embrace. She felt his firm grip and felt safe in his strong arms. Suddenly everything came flooding back, and she felt like she had disappointed her father once again. It was all too much to bear, and she began crying again almost as soon as she woke up.
Xasha heard her whimpers and squeezed her tighter, "it's okay, baby. I'm here, daddy's here. I got you. You're fine."
Lili looked up with veiny red eyes. "But, but..."
"No buts, you're fine. You are young. To be young is to be reckless. You should have seen me when I was your age. Meg, do you remember Dela Vega City? Now that I think about it, Lili really is my child." Xasha burst out laughing.
"Ah, to be young. That's where we met Bruce, isn't it? To think that was over 20 years ago. Time sure flies," Megan reminisced.
