The plan had failed yet again, but it was also successful. The vibrating water particles under Xeik's skin blasted from his palm as a jet of steam that sent Geld flying. He then pulled out his liquid Imperium and formed dual short swords after tossing his metal sword at Geld's head with all his might.
The attack was easily deflected, but Geld flinched. These three consecutive flinches gave Xeik all the time he needed to prepare. When the steam cleared, the two were still exchanging blows, but now it was hard to tell who was losing.
The clash got more intense, and the audience roared in jubilation. "This was the clash of the titans," screamed a youngster in the crowd.
