"Hardly." Xeik looked up at the red-haired beauty before him.
"You're nervous all of a sudden?" Blossom teased.
"I'm not. It's just that I've been naïve. I've underestimated my opponents."
Lili chuckled, "maybe, maybe not. But who cares? We have to beat them, so we will."
"Just like that?" Xeik looked at her dismissively.
"Just like that," Lili replied, unperturbed.
Xeik looked out at the crowd of climbers getting ready. There were a few among them that sent shivers down even his spine.
"Heya cuties. I see you checking out the competition. Thought I'd come over and say hello." A white-haired girl approached.
The group turned their attention to her because her voice was familiar. They recognized her immediately because her face looked similar to Lili's.
"Aunt Mira! You're participating too?" Lili ran over and jumped into the tiny women's embrace, knocking her down.
