The room came into focus as the golden light faded. Xasha released a deep sigh, then fell onto a nearby couch. Today was a productive day, as he did everything he set out to do. All the projects were going well, and everyone was steadily advancing.
He was happy to know that he had capable people to rely on. If anything were to happen to him, the Falling Stardust will be alright, and their upward mobility would not come to a halt. It felt like that back in Sutherland. Humans were a disorganized mess back then. It is good to see how much things have turned around.
It gave him hope. What he needed the most right now was hope. For the longest time, he could not see a way out for the Falling Stardust and humanity. Every road looked dark and dangerous. Crippled by fear, he was afraid to take a step forward, not before he was confident in his abilities. Not until he could face that darkness head-on while protecting those behind him.
