12 year-old Stelen dragged his tired body to their garden where his younger brother waited for him.It was summer and the heat was too much.
'Young Master Stelen you shouldn't be outside.The weather is too hot and you have a fever '
'Yes,yes, you should go back inside --'
'...And rest'
Stelen:'If you want to go inside turn back.Don't disburb me!'
'But you know we can't do that, Madam will kill us if she knows that we left you alone'

Stelen ran as fast as his legs could carry him.He hadn't even bothered to stay any longer there.Finally, his legs betrayed him as he stumbled and fell on the grass.

He buried his face in his knee when he heard his name being called by a familiar voice;his dad
The duke dropped down beside him and,for a long time they just sat there together in silence.

'Yes,you did.And...you also got your powers; it's pretty good...'
After a few seconds:
'Yeah,but I'm scared Father.Very scared'

Stelen looked at his dad with his arms spread open,he went to him and Charles hugged him tight

For the next few weeks,while the west side of the duchy was being repaired,Stelen spent his most hours of his days in his room; practicing magic and once in a while leaving his room for sword practice,dance and music lessons,etiquette lessons.
He had not spoken to his family except the rare greetings he dishes out.
On a hot summer day,a knock sounded at his bedroom door.

He was a bit surprised when he saw his mother step in
'Stelen_'she said in a hurt and cautious tone
Stelen sat up from the bed and looked at his mother
'Stelen I-i...I am here to...apologize'
Stelen was a bit startled
'Pardon?'
'I, your mother has come to apologize to you-
I have come to realise that what I did was--I overreacted.I know I wasn't supposed to talk about the spring ball amongst others but I-ehem I don't know what came over me,you obviously did the right thing by protect the person from bullies.I am sorry'
'No need to apologize,Mom.I was also wrong in a way'

Stelen had completely mastered magic;water magic.He could make rain,artificial ponds,and even control any liquid.
Today was his birthday,he still found it hard to believe that he had spent 14 years in this world and in this body.
He had a feeling that his parents were planning a surprise for him alongside Albert,Genevieve,Frances and Lucas.
He woke up happy and smiling,had his bath and rushed down for breakfast.
'Happy birthday son'his father said when he saw him.His mother smiled and also wished him a happy birthday.Also Albert and Stelen's attendant Cara.
That was all?No gifts? Nothing?Guess his 'feeling'was wrong
His remaining happiness shattered when he heard they were attending a ball in the Royal Palace.
Even if he wasn't going to receive any gift he could at least have had peace and solitude but nooooo they had to attend some stupid ball.
