In the car, Aaron recalled what had just happened to him. It made him clench his fists tightly, he became furious. Do you want his life?
The thing he couldn't understand was why anyone would want his life. Do they want the inheritance that belongs to him? however, what he got was the result of all his hard work.
Robin saw the look on Aaron's face was depressed, he knew if the boss was currently thinking about what had just happened to them, his life had so many enemies that he wanted him to disappear from the world.
"Master, are you all right?" asked Robin looking at Aaron in the rearview mirror.
"Do you see my face is so calm right now? No, I'm very unsettled right now, and I'm not okay," Aaron said then fell silent.
Robin no longer dared to ask about what happened to his boss, he returned to his focus on the wheel.
Aaron just sat staring out the window, not a single word came out of his mouth, this time it was Emily who had saved his life, even though she had to kill. He should thank you.
His assistant was still not free from fear when he saw someone who was shot right in front of him.
Unlike Emily, who was in the apartment observing the dead man right in front of her. He finished the bowl of soup he cooked a while ago.
His face was so annoyed that he had to get his hands dirty without getting paid, especially since the man was sent to kill Aaron, the man who had forced him. He should have let that man kill Aaron so he wouldn't have married.
"Unlucky. Why do I have to help him, this is very annoying," Emily cursed as she put the chopsticks roughly on the table.
The girl didn't like the current situation. Especially getting pressured to marry a man who does not want to be married. Emily grabbed her cell phone and called someone.
"Please fix something for me," he said then hung up the phone unilaterally. So cliché what he said, without telling Aaronat made the person he called again call.
"Yeah, what else?" he asked annoyed.
"The address?
Instantly he took a shaky breath and said the address. To get rid of the traces, he chose to leave what had happened to him to be cleaned up by people he trusted. Usually, he would clean up the mess he made himself, but this time he chose not to.
Emily's motorbike entered the yard, making several of her adoptive siblings see her arrival with disapproving faces.
"Wow. Are you guys having an event without me? I'm very hurt," said Emily entering the house.
An annoyed face made the girl open the door to her father's study roughly.
"Should I marry that man?" he asked irritably, making Jordan frown.
He took off the glasses Jordan was wearing, then said, "Did something happen?"
"Yes!" replied Emily. "Someone followed him to the apartment, a killer," said Emily annoyed.
"Murderer? That …"
"I killed him," said Emily.
"M-killed who? You killed…" Jordan was shocked to hear that his son had been killed.
"It wasn't the CEO, but the man who was stalking her. I have to give up the apartment I've been living in," Emily crossed her arms in front of her chest. "Do I have to be involved in the struggle for property in his family? This is very annoying," Emily grumbled.
Jordan looked into his daughter's eyes, reminding him of something. The face of a woman he had longed for so long, Emily's face was similar to his.
"Why not just follow their game? Maybe more fun than what you've been doing so far."
The woman thought about what the man before her had just said. What Jordan said might be true.
"Huh!" only a long sigh could be heard, then he lay down on the sofa and covered his eyes with his right arm.
The mistake he made, because he was not careful when carrying out his duties made him like this. faced with choices that made him unfettered.
A call startled him, it said Aaron. He didn't even realize when the man's phone number was in his cellphone contacts. He pushed the red button to turn off the phone, but the call again made Emily forced to pick up the phone.
"Yes, what is up?"
"Are you okay?" asked a man on the other end of the phone. The man had just finished taking a shower and called him.
"Yes, fine," replied Emily lazily.
"But, you're like—"
Aaron's words stopped when Emily hung up the call which made the man just smile.
"Just watch, I will make you unable to move in front of me," said Aaron, placing the phone on the nightstand and then sleeping.
Elsewhere, there is a man who was sitting while tightly gripping his cell phone. There were shards from the wine glass he threw, his face full of anger when he found out that the plan to kill Aaron had failed again.
I don't know how many times he's done that, but it still doesn't work. The hatred for Aaron was very clear on his face. So much grudge for Aaron. Making it would do various ways of making what Aaron did.
He wanted to ruin Aaron's life.
"You'll see, I'm going to surprise you on your wedding day," he muttered with a chuckle.
I don't know what strategy he was thinking, obviously nothing good.
Two days later, guests were seen arriving while congratulating the man who was wearing a black coat. The day where Aaron and Emily's wedding will be held soon.
The happy smile shown by Emily's adopted sister looks so real even though they are acting as if they are happy with their adopted sister's marriage.
"Congratulations on your son's wedding," said one, reaching out to shake Jordan's hand.
A woman was seen in a hurry to run towards Jordan, her face looked pale making the man frown. So many people saw that woman.
"Anything?" Jordan asked ahead.
"Th-that," he stammered.
"What is that?" Jordan asked.
"N-Miss Emily is missing," said the waiter making all the guests surprised, but for Emily's adopted brother it was normal.
"H-lost? How did it happen?"
"Maybe he ran away because he didn't want to get married. He doesn't want to get married,' one of Emily's adopted sisters called out making everyone look at them.
The man's words made the guests question what was going on. Is it true that Emily suddenly disappeared like that?
"M-maybe Miss has been kidnapped," said the maid, making the faces of Emily's siblings and Jordan's also flat.
Is it true, his daughter was kidnapped? Does that make sense? Kidnapping a more dangerous woman seems to be looking for trouble.
