In the dark void of the universe, a humanoid being was panting heavily looking ahead with vigilance.
"I WILL COME BACK and I WILL DESTROY THIS UNIVERSE WITH ME. You cannot stop me again, AZAEL!"
The universe shook from the roar, countless weak worlds and stars burst from the wave of the roar.
"I know I can't, my dear friend, I cantk" mumbled Azael.
Soon the darkness engulfed and the humanoid being disappeared with a thought.
'The 9 monarchs are too weak. They are just busy playing politics at such a time, they can't even sense my presence.' Azael thought while moving through the void and a sigh escaped from his body.
'IT IS TIME'
A millennium later.
Earth 2030
A catastrophe stuck the world. Energy of the universe was introduced to the world. Countless animals evolved to beasts and then to magical beasts. Hordes of these beats attacked cities, states and even nations fell, 1/3rd of the population was lost on the first month. Modern weapons didn't even scratch the surface of the beasts fur. By the end of the year only three continents(North America, Europe and Asia) survived with a total of 20% population remaining.
When all hope was lost people awakened with supernatural powers some could lift a car with their one hand . They were soon known as warrior. Through these awakeners humanity secured themselves in three continents. Government fell military ruled each continent.
Soon the earth entered a development phase were science bloomed. Flying cars, portals were no longer a dream and people enjoyed a better life.
Well....not everyone.
150 years later.
In the city Z of north American continent, a young frail looking kid was panting heavily leaning against the wall while vigilant towards his chasers. He was almost 11 years old,5ft tall with green eyes, fair skin and black hair. He wore a ragged white t-shirt and black shorts but bare foot. He was holding a piece of kebab in his hand while bleeding from head to toe, his eyes were getting blurry and he couldn't even stand properly. His name was Will.
"There you are, you f*king shit, did you think you could escape from me after stealing that meat"
Will turned around to see a young man and a beautiful young woman standing in front him, around age 15. He tried to make a break but before he could blink he was lifted from the ground. The man was holding his collar while lifting him from the ground by one hand, while Will's back was rubbed against the wall.
It was then will realised they were awakened. Every kid will be tested for potential at the age of 10 to be warrior. Unfortunately will had none.
"Jimmy, leave him, its okay. It was just one piece." Said the woman beside the young man.
"No Alexi, today he stole a piece tomorrow he will come for money. You don't know about these bitches from slums. We have to eradicate these rats who make our city dirty."
How can he let go of the opportunity to show off in front of her. He rammed Will's head into the wall and blood gushed out.
"P..lea…se, le..t…..me…..g….o" muttered William.
Jimmy acted as if he heard nothing and rammed his head into the wall once again and then threw him on the ground.
"che! my hands got dirty. Let's go alexi" jimmy turned around to leave while wiping his hands off in a kerchief. They both turned around and left.
While on the ground Will was barely breathing, a small tear flowed down from his eyes and fell on the bloodied ground.
"If only I had power"
William was slowly losing his consciousness.
"What a waste of life!"
And then he lost consciousness.
