There is a small tuning fork shaped mark on the back of her neck. It looked more like a tattoo than a birth mark but Ian was sure it wasn't there before, surely he would have noticed. "what the hell is that?" Ian says moving the hair further off her neck to see the mark more clearly. Marcy turns her head in shock, trying to see what Ian is talking about. "what, what is it?" she screams back at him unsure of what is now on her neck Marcy is rightfully panicked. "It's a mark like a birthmark or tattoo on the back of your neck, it looks like a tuning fork I think..." he says still staring at the mark that he was sure was never there.
Marcy jumps up off the floor and runs over to the trail of clothes from the front door searching for her pants. "found them" she says snatching them up and fumbling through her pockets. Marcy pulls out her phone and walks over handing it to Ian "take a picture." Ian grabs the phone and opens the camera while getting to his feet. Marcy turns around sliding her hair to the front of her shoulder away from the mark. Ian thumbs at the mark still baffled at what it might be before taking a picture. Marcy here's the camera shutter and turns on her heels with anxiety building in her chest "what is it, show me." Ian hands Marcy the phone as the picture loads on the screen. They stare at the picture of the mark on her neck and Marcys mouth gapes wide open at the sight of it as she grabs at the mark on the back of her neck. "what is that, that definitely has not been there Ian" Marcy says turning to face Ian. Ian pulls his phone out and dials someone as he takes his fingers through his hair.
Marcy watches Ian pace back and forth on the phone while the other end rings. "Hey, I could use some help. can you come to us or do we need to come to you? . . . Okay . . . Yeah, I'm gonna send you a picture see what you can find out about it in the meantime. We will be there shortly, see you soon."
Ian and Marcy both quickly dress and run out the door to the car. once in the car Marcy looks at Ian "where are we going?" "we're going to see a friend that might be able to help. That mark doesn't look wolf related but I don't know what else it could be since it wasn't there before. Her name is Katrina she is the alpha female, Storms mate. She knows a lot about curses, marks, legends and sh*t the rest of us don't take the time to read about. So I'm hoping she can help!"
The anxiety is high and causing tension in the car while they sit in silence. After about 30 minutes of the building tension Ian's phone buzzes with a text. He slides the phone from his pocket and glances down at the screen.

" I think she found something..."
After glancing at the message Ian drops his phone back into his lap and speeds up. Marcy looked him up and down and fixated on his clenched jaw. She knew he was more than just worried at this point and they were both beyond stressed. "who was it?" Marcy finally asks not sure that Ian will even answer at the moment. Ian hesitates before looking in Marcys direction "it was Storm... they think they found something."
