"It's okay," said Queen Baiduri to Aryan. "You don't need to apologize to me. You know," she glanced at Maya and Mirah, "they both like teasing people, not just you, even me."
"Oh, I see?" Aryan cleared his throat while Maya and Mirah just giggled.
"So," said the queen, "I assume you already know the answer to your previous question, don't you?"
Aryan nodded. After all, repeating the same question about the way the Sibunians reproduce, feels unethical, especially in the presence of the queen herself.
"Then," Queen Baiduri took a deep breath, her beautiful face suddenly blushing. "I'm sure you understand why I asked you to stay for a while in this palace, right?"
Aryan frowned. "To examine the nine pillars in the hall?"
Queen Baiduri smiled sweetly which further added to the charm of her beauty, she glanced at Maya and Mirah. The two girls had been smiling ever since, sometimes giggling at what the queen was planning to do with Aryan.
