Chapter 1 - Prologue: A letter from The King

It was a cloudy afternoon in Ireville. The wind was soft, and the rays were timid, the grass danced in joy as the sound of children's laughter echoed through the valley. It was peaceful, it was calm, but Hyn did not have time for that.

"What do you mean you can't do anything?" She had frustration written all over her warm Ivory skin as she stared intensely at the man laying down on the ground with a staw of grass lazily sitting on his mouth.

"The Western Empire hired them on the context of research and exploration" the man flashed his crimson eye towards Hyn's direction. He did not meant to look at anything in particular but because of how Hyn was standing in an angle opposite to him, and that she was wearing a short skirt, he saw more of her skin than professionally necessary but less enough to avoid sexual charges.

"Research and exploration on times of war!" Hyn's fingers vigorous scratched the back of her long shoulder length brown hair "are Seekers now just a bunch of glorified mercenaries!"

On the year XXX1 approximately 50 years ago, the Seekers were created in order to support the heroes of Zera known as the Six Braves. Because of this innate tasks, the Seekers were given the privilege to have their own governing body and are independent from any kingdom or empire. But after The Great War between man and beast 40 years ago the Six Brave dropped their respective positions, gave it to their trusted Seekers, and then disappeared. Vi, Cele, Rationa, Dexter, Firmus, Fortuna. These are the six governing bodies of the Seekers.

"We can't do anything about that. It was a vote, and the majority of the seats agreed" feeling the frustration of Hyn the man slowly sat up "besides, you were absent Hyn of Rationa" The man couldn't help but raise a smrik as he glanced into Hyn's predatory-like, down brown eyes.

Oblivious of his own teasing, the man suddenly felt a pang on his left cheek and ended up face down on the ground.

"Don't call me that" Hyn had punched the man so fast that her fist moved to a blur.

"anyway..." and as if he wasn't hit, the man got up and faced Hyn with a smile on his face while rubbing his reddish cheeks "... that isn't the reason why I summoned you here for"

Hyn lets out a curious hum "what do you want?"

"I got a mission for you..."
