"Ryuu!" Ryuu widened his eyes and saw Nobu's figure beside him.
"Oi, Nobu, what's your problem, I've only been asleep for a few minutes you idiot!"
"You've been asleep for 12 hours, you have a job, get up."
"12 hours?"
"Get out of bed, you fool." Ryuu slowly got up from bed and covered his face from the sun.
"I can't believe it's been 12 hours already."
Ryuu stretched and got ready.
He wore his casual clothes after showering, and then he started packing.
Ryuu took some bottles of wine and gin, and then sealed them, and went to the Hozuki compounds.
"Ryuu-sama!" Suigetsu ran towards Ryuu with a smile on his face.
Ryuu went on one knee and asked,
"Suigetsu, where's your brother?"
"Inside, are you looking for him to go drinking again?" Ryuu shook his head.
"I'm here to say goodbye, I have to head back home, I wish I could stay here some more but my father will bother me too much, you know?" Ryuu entered the house.
"Hey Mangetsu, I'm leaving, where's Kisame?"
"I don't know, I haven't seen him since yesterday.
Speaking of yesterday, what happened? You left so suddenly."
"Yeah, I couldn't handle myself, I guess.
Anyway, goodbye Mangetsu, see you some other time." Mangetsu nodded.
"Now that you're gone, I have to go back to training and take on more missions.
Thanks for a great time though, come back soon."
Ryuu teleported back to his house in Konoha.
"I'm home!" Ryuu went straight to the fridge and took a jar of fresh orange juice.
"Big brother!"
Naruto ran towards Ryuu and jumped on him, almost making him spill the drink.
"Careful Naruto." Ryuu put him down.
"Why'd you have to go for so long?"
"Running errands."
Naruto smelled the alcohol on Ryuu's clothes.
"You liar! You were off partying with your friends again!" Ryuu nervously scratched the back of his head.
"Well, I'm on my off, anyway.
Dad made it mandatory for me to take my days off, you know?"
Ryuu said before he chugged the entire jar.
"Hey, I wanted some too, you know!"
"Calm down, there's another jar, take a glass, I'll pour some for you."
Naruto smiled and ran to take a glass.
"So anyway, I was thinking while I'm here we could go catch a movie or something."
"Sorry I gave to train harder if I want to compete with Sasuke in the academy."
"Oh, that's wonderful, Naruto.
You're taking this training seriously, huh?"
"Well yeah, that's the only way I'll be able to become like you, right?"
Ryuu poured some orange juice for Naruto and said,
"I guess I'll look for someone else to watch it with."
Naruto finished the drink and ran upstairs to take his goggles.
"Alright! I'm ready to go, see ya, big brother!" Naruto left through the window.
"Kushina would've killed him for leaving through the window like that, and then she would've killed me for allowing it.
Sigh."
Ryuu sighed.
Ryuu went to get changed, and after that; he walked out of his room and headed towards Kakashi, who was reading and walking around the village.
"Hey, Kakashi! Let's go, you and me, fight at my place!"
Kakashi flipped to the next page and looked at Ryuu.
"Already back?"
"Yeah, come on, let's fight or do something, you know?"
"I'm busy." Kakashi walked past Ryuu.
"Aw man, not again."
Ryuu put his hands in his pockets and went towards the Uchiha compound.
Shisui wasn't there, but Itachi was.
"Hey, Itachi, are you up for a quick training session with me?"
"I've been called in for another mission, after that we can train with Shisui too."
Ryuu nodded.
'Man, I can't even enjoy my day off without you, how annoying, Ichika.' Ryuu walked to the Hokage stone faces, he sat down above Minato's head.
"I wish you were here, I'm sure you would've joined me in the training grounds, we would've made a new ninjutsu together, I'm sure of it." Ryuu stood up.
'I closed my eyes and jumped down with my hands in my pockets. Once I opened them, my Sharingan was on and I threw a kunai into the Hokage's office and teleported there.'
"What are you doing in here?" Sakumo asked as he signed some papers.
"I'm bored. Give me a new mission, please."
"Today is your day off, stay away from all missions."
Ryuu sat down.
"This doesn't feel like a day off, it's more like a punishment, come on, you must have something for me, anything, just say the word and I'll do any mission."
Sakumo frowned.
'He sounds desperate for a mission, but is he up for this one? I doubt that, but knowing Ryuu, he'll still want it.'
Sakumo gave him a document.
"Finally…" Ryuu skimmed through the documents.
With each paragraph, his face would become more bitter.
Until he couldn't take it.
"You've got to be kidding me." Ryuu's head dropped depressingly as he handed the document back to him.
"Sorry, that's the only mission I have for you, of course, you don't have to take it, it's all up to you." Ryuu frowned.
"Really? No other mission?" Sakumo nodded.
"It's an emergency call for backup, so I'll just give it to someone else if you don't want it."
"Fine, I'll take it, whatever…" Ryuu gave Sakumo the documents and prepared to leave.
"Man… What a drag, you know."
"Ryuu." Ryuu looked back.
"Don't let your feelings cloud your judgment." Ryuu nodded and left the office.
He was at Rikuto's shop, sharpening his Katana and kunai.
"Who does dad think I am, of course, I won't let my feelings cloud my judgment, I never do." He looked at the katana and tested it with his hand.
"Sharp enough." Ryuu left Rikuto's shop with a grim look.
Once he got home, Ryuu wrote a letter to Naruto explaining that he was on a mission.
Ryuu left the village, and once he was outside the main gate, Ryuu stopped running.
"Nobu, we'll approach from above."
"Got it."
Nobu came out of Ryuu's body.
"We're going to Tanzaku Quarters, let's get going."
Ryuu jumped on top of Nobu and then Nobu took off.
"Ryuu, you said you wouldn't let your feelings cloud your judgment, and yet here we are, I can feel your heart beating faster, and this time it's not in a good way."
Ryuu scoffed.
"Just get me to Tanzaku Quarters."
Sensing Ryuu didn't want to talk, Nobu didn't respond or say anything after that.
After a few minutes of flying, Nobu reached Tanzaku Quarters, he flew above the clouds, high enough that no one could see them.
"Will you need my help?" Ryuu shook his head.
"I'll be fine on my own, let's just wait until it's dark, that's when I'll strike without being seen."
"Alright."
Ryuu sat down on Nobu's back and when it started becoming dark, he coated him with ash.
"Tanzaku Quarters is known for its excellent gambling opportunities, it's also one of Tsunade's favorite places to stay, I can't do this mission with all those people down there, I'll have to wait for a while."
