Ryuu stood in front of Hiruzen.
"There's an organization… for now, it's nothing but a small organization of a few rogue ninjas, but it appears they're growing faster than I expected.
Minato and I knew about their existence before I went to Shikkotsu forest with Ichika after receiving Minato's approval.
I had warned Minato about them; I told him they hunt Jinchuriki and they might attack Kushina. After all, she was at her weakest at the moment.
I told him I should be there as she was giving birth to Naruto.
Sadly, I didn't make it in time because training in Shikkotsu forest got difficult."
Ryuu clenched his fist.
"When the nine tails attacked, I got attacked by someone else.
He overpowered me for a long time, forcing me to use a dangerous power that caused fatal injuries to my body and chakra.
When I got to Minato and Kushina I was too late, the nine tails had gotten to them before me, they sacrificed themselves for Naruto and the village.
The last wish they had was for Naruto to be known as a hero, and for me to take care of their child.
Unfortunately, Naruto had to become a Jinchuriki at such a young age.
If you ask me, without Naruto the nine tails would've attacked Konoha again because of Minato being unable to seal the rest of it, he's the hero who saved the village."
Ryuu sat down.
"Ryuu, do you think they'll buy it?"
Nobu asked.
"Of course, they will," Ryuu Replied through their mental link.
"With all due respect, this doesn't change a thing, we have already made plans for the Uchiha to be moved out."
Ryuu and Fugaku glared at Danzo as he spoke.
"And in addition, the nine tails should be handed over to the root. There, he will go through training to master its power and serve to protect the village."
Ryuu's eyes widened.
"Naruto is half Uzumaki, and Minato and Kushina themselves entrusted his life to me.
I won't allow him to be used by Danzo's root or the village, he isn't a weapon or a tool, he's my elder brother's son, and I will take care of him!"
"This child has the most powerful tailed beast in existence, we wasted the opportunity of using his mother as a weapon, and the village paid its price, having suffered a lot of losses during the third shinobi war." Ryuu gritted his teeth.
"I'm afraid Danzo is right, we have to use the nine tails well this time around, we wasted multiple lives when we didn't use Kushina-sama as a weapon."
Koharu added.
"Sigh." Ryuu closed his eyes.
"As long as I'm alive, you will never approach Naruto or any of my friends or family, Danzo."
"Then you will be considered a threat to the village."
"A threat to the village?" Ryuu stood up.
The room was intense, with Ryuu's chakra overflowing through his body.
"This is nothing but typical Uchiha behavior, always the first to act upon anger," Hiashi said.
Ryuu glared at him with his Sharingan on, his eyes pierced Hiashi's eyes, and Hiashi glared back with his Byakugan.
"Don't push your limits, Hyūga. I can cast a genjutsu so fast you won't even see it coming."
Ryuu looked back at the Hokage and the elders.
"To be honest, I knew this would happen. The village entrusted too much power to an idiot who thinks too big of himself, I've been planning for this, and what I'm about to do isn't even the final nail in the coffin. Pity…"
Knock knock knock…
"Kakashi, come in."
The door opened, and Kakashi walked through.
"Kakashi? What are you doing here?" Sakumo asked.
"I asked him to come. We shouldn't be fighting, but Danzo makes things so much worse." Ryuu added as he took the documents.
"The truth is, they have slowly pushed away the Uchiha clan as an important figure since the days of the second Hokage, your sensei.
Worse is, since then, Danzo has been meddling any time he thought he could get an advantage or something of the sort.
Uzushiogakure didn't fall because their defense was weak… I experienced firsthand how difficult it was to enter.
One member of the foundation was spotted scouting a week before the destruction of the Uzumaki's, I saw it all through a special ninjutsu I was taught.
I realize these accusations aren't things to scoff at, so I wrote them all in these documents.
Take your time, it doesn't matter." Ryuu gave the documents to the Hokage.
"I made a promise, and I'll keep it, no matter the cost."
"This is preposterous!"
"Now don't be such a sore loser, Danzo.
The fact is, I'll kill anyone who gets in my way, I will achieve peace even if you won't get to see it, and you know that, so why fight a losing battle?"
Ryuu didn't know it, but his red flames started floating around his right hand like an aura.
"As we're fighting right now, Kumogakure and the other villages strengthen themselves, and they're recovering, unlike us."
'I should've made sure he died when I had the chance… but that damn Yuri Uzumaki had to use her seals! Tch!' Danzo cursed himself as he glared at Ryuu.
"All this was done under my rule?!" Lord third had a grim look, full of regret and stress.
'How could he have done all this under my rule?! And there's more…?'
"Tch!" Hiruzen clicked.
"Kakashi, arrest Danzo for crimes against the village, aiding enemy villages, crimes against other villages, and clans." Hiruzen ordered with a disgusted look on his face.
"Hiruzen, you can't be serious! Everything I did was for the village and its wellbeing."
"That's just an excuse you've been using all this time to do whatever you want.
It's over." Ryuu sealed their chakra away.
"From this day forward, the root is disbanded, you will be supervised 24/7, everyone you meet and every letter you send will be inspected beforehand.
I… I can never come back to being Hokage.
If I can allow all of this to be done while I'm the Hokage, that can only mean I'm undeserving of that title.
With that being said, a new Hokage must be chosen now, who will it be?"
"I have two choices, if I may."
Everyone looked at Ryuu.
"I think Fugaku Uchiha should be the new Hokage. However… I understand why you wouldn't choose him to be Hokage now.
If not him, I choose Sakumo Hatake. I think we can all agree he's qualified for this position."
They all looked at each other and nodded.
"Do you accept being the next Hokage?" Ryuu asked Fugaku.
"I can't promise to become the Hokage for a long time, but I can say I'll do as much as I can, even though it's not my kind of thing."
Ryuu smiled.
"I'll notify the Daimyo, but before that… let's arrange a funeral for the fourth Hokage and all the lives we lost."
They all nodded.
Everyone, apart from Sakumo, Hiruzen, and Ryuu, left.
"Congratulations Sakumo. I know you will make a great Hokage." Lord third congratulated him.
"Thank you lord third. I'll do my best, I promise."
"I'm sure you will. You have great people around you." Hiruzen looked at Ryuu, who scratched his head shyly.
"Anyway, where is Naruto?" Ryuu asked Sakumo.
"We hadn't made our minds, so I took him to a shelter on the outskirts.
Let's 's go get him." Ryuu nodded.
They left the office and went to Konoha's shelter.
"Where are all the villagers?"
The village was empty, and in the background, a sound of a mob of people yelling.
Ryuu ran towards the sound.
"What's going on here?" Ryuu asked one villager.
"Someone said the nine tails is being held in here!" He replied.
Ryuu clenched his fist and whispered. "Danzo."
People would separate as Ryuu walked between them.
"What do you think you're doing?!"
Ryuu yelled.
"A child inside of this orphanage has the nine tails inside him, he killed my brother!"
Ryuu frowned.
"And so you thought the best way to take care of this is to, what? Kill him?"
He didn't respond immediately but then nodded.
Ryuu shook his head in disappointment.
He made a wood clone, and the clone entered the orphanage.
"You should thank this child, he's the one who's preventing the nine tails from attacking the village again!
Everyone get lost from here.
From now on, whoever thinks they have a problem with the child must answer to me."
The crowd deafened and shrunk as people started leaving and went back to their daily routines.
'This damn village… They're too ungrateful some times…'
