'6 weeks had passed since then, Rikuto and I had been searching for tools to make a perfect sword, he said he wants this sword to be truly perfect so he'll take his time making it.'
"Brother, how long until you're done making this sword?"
"For the last time Ryuu, a sword this powerful will take a long time to make, it's why I'll have you stay with me until I'm done, ok?"
Ryuu pouted and nodded.
"It's not like it has a problem, it's one of the most powerful swords."
He murmured to himself, as he practiced his Kenjutsu styles, Rikuto heard him and facepalmed.
"Come here." Ryuu ran to Rikuto.
"I was looking at your sword, and I realized it had a problem right here."
Rikuto pointed at the sword's handle but Ryuu scratched his head, as he couldn't see a problem.
"You can't see it, right?" Ryuu nodded.
(Sigh) "lead the way."
'I was confused with what he was saying, but I soon realized he was talking to Nakamura.
I followed them both; the cave was much bigger than I thought it had many levels and I could sense other animals in there, suddenly we stopped at a dead-end Nakamura sat down and I looked at Rikuto, he was weaving hand signs then he placed his hands on the floor.'
"Release!"
The walls crumbled, and dust fell off the floor then the wall disappeared, and inside was a forge surrounded by fire, and from observation, Ryuu concluded it was Phoenix flame, some of it looked like lava, and many swords and weapons were hanging on the wall.
"Impressive isn't it?" Ryuu slowly nodded as he stared in awe.
"When I was young, I had a natural talent with any weapons, mother had always appreciated my talent and knowledge in all weapons, so one day she took me to buy a weapon, I wanted to make my own, but she refused.
That day, I was so furious that I sneaked out.
I ran to the nearest blacksmith and snuck in, when I was there it was like the forge was calling to me, and I answered the call without hesitation, I disguised myself as one blacksmith after knocking out the real one, then I made a sword, I stayed there the whole night but it wasn't tiring instead; it was quite thrilling;
I had never had that much fun and I also never focused that hard.
After I was done, I headed back home to show father my new sword but just as I was leaving, dad popped out of nowhere and scared me; he yelled at me for sneaking out and that was before he found out that I knocked out a guard, when he found that out he dragged me, ignoring my cries.
I tried to convince him he should look at a sword I made, but seeing he wasn't listening I threw it to the ground in a fit of rage, the whole journey back I didn't speak or move, and when we were home, I headed straight to my room, father wanted to scold me but got stopped by our mother, as usual.
The next day father woke me up early, he said it was a surprise, I got up as quick as possible and followed him, to my surprise we were back at the blacksmith, he saw my talents and wanted me to help him make 'the perfect sword' and so I did, we combined our knowledge and made a sword that can cut through almost anything and can never be double-edged, I was talented in fuinjutsu too.
I made a seal within the sword that burned anyone who isn't a direct blood-related relative, to test if it works we gave Sakumo-sama, hmph."
Ryuu's eyes widened.
"You knew Sakumo?"
He nodded,
"Of course I did, he was like an uncle to me, but there was our uncle Fugaku, I never got along with him when I was growing up, because of his uptight personality. And for that, I would prank him a lot."
Ryuu frowned.
"How come they never told me about you?!" Ryuu furiously asked
"Our mother taught our father a powerful seal, the seal she used to erase your memory, Hanzo used that same seal to erase the memories of the rest who knew me.
Although it cost him a lot of chakras, I guess life without me in it was worth it.
He told our mother that I died, since then, I followed and protected you from all kinds of danger, you'd be surprised to know how many root ninja's hunted you before you awakened your sensory ability."
Ryuu frowned.
"Sounds… lonely." he nodded.
"It was, but not anymore, now I have my brother with me." Ryuu smiled and nodded.
"But anyway, I want your help in making this new sword, it will be the most powerful sword in the world once we're done." Ryuu scratched his head shyly.
"I know nothing about being a blacksmith, wouldn't I just hinder your progress?"
Rikuto chuckled a little.
"Not really, you're a quick study and your eyes might see something that I missed, you up for the challenge?" Ryuu nodded.
The two began crafting 'The Perfect Sword'
Ryuu was struggling to keep up with Rikuto, but he would always seek help and get better, and occasionally Nakamura would lend them a hand in bringing stuff.
After two days of hard work in the forge, Rikuto said we're nearly halfway there.
"Ryuu, now all I need you to do is direct your Phoenix Flame here." I nodded and did as he said.
"If you don't mind me asking, why do you need my Phoenix Flame? We have plenty," he asked as he was directing his flame.
"as you know, since you gained the Mangekyou Sharingan, your flame is much more potent than mine, soon you'll be able to use the full power of Phoenix Flame but first, try directing your ashes over the edge.
"SHHH!" Ryuu's dark ash attached itself to it and at first, nothing happened, but they somehow caught fire and burned everything.
Ryuu scratched his head shyly and looked at Rikuto, who had a shocked look on his face but eventually, he calmed down and a wide smile appeared on his face.
"HAHAHA! You truly do not know what to do here!"
He said as he tried to catch his breath.
"It's not funny," Ryuu said as he folded his arms.
"If I knew we would be brought to the Naruto world after we died, I would have brought you with me when I learned to make swords." He said as he laughed.
Ryuu had a small smile on his face, he tried holding in his laughter but couldn't and started laughing with Rikuto.
"Sorry about that, but I find it hilarious how powerful you are and you don't even know how to control all of that power, here let me help you, hold out your hand and direct that powerful ash and smoke."
Ryuu used my Mangekyou Sharingan to teleport some ash, he used his hands to navigate the ash and smoke; it climbed onto his hands and attached themselves like armor.
"Now use your Mangekyou."
Ryuu opened his Mangekyou Sharingan and directed the chakra into his eyes.
'I could feel the power flowing within me and once it reached my hand my Flame changed color once again, it went from dark red to maroon then it stopped there, it changed how it looked and behaved, it was constantly rotating around my hand, I had a theory I needed to test out.'
Ryuu moved back…
'I used my other hand to direct the fire, and it followed my movements. When I clenched my fist, it took the form of something. solid when I released my hand, it fell to a dark gas but contained itself on my palm.'
"Incredible, what is this?" Ryuu curiously asked.
"This is something that I couldn't achieve, such control over those flames, I would be lying to you if I said I wasn't jealous and yet, it could become much more than what it is."
Ryuu looked at his hand, a drop of this fire hit the ground and left a deep hole in the floor, Ryuu took back his flame before he could harm anything.
"But I don't understand something, how could you know all this without being able to achieve it?"
"Because the phoenix flame isn't just a dangerous fire, it's a being, a celestial being who selects few people as its host, it speaks through many ways, I wonder, has it spoken to you? Any weird dreams or visions?"
Ryuu nodded.
"Now that you mention it, I had a strange dream the first morning I was here, I couldn't move but I could see a large eye watching me and I stared back at it, it's like it wanted to speak to me but couldn't then when I could finally speak, I got teleported back to the other dimension."
Rikuto widened his eyes.
"Amazing." Ryuu tilted his head in confusion.
"What's so amazing about that?" Ryuu asked.
"That eye you saw earlier it's the being I was talking about, and you even got to see it, when I get that dream I can never look back at the eye, every time I do so my head feels an immense pressure as if it's about to explode so that forces me to look away."
"So now what?" Rikuto tossed Ryuu a Bow and arrow.
"I've discovered how powerful your fire is, I don't have the materials needed to make this sword so now we need to get some from the land of iron, wear this, everyone thinks you're dead I want to keep it that way for at least a year, plus this will be a new way to see how powerful your flames are and how powerful your mangekyou is."
Ryuu nodded and did as he was told, and just like that, their journey to the land of iron began, even Nakamura joined in.
'We ran for 12 hours a day then we finally reached, luckily I had a seal planted near the border of the land of fire, we reached after nearly 3 days.'
"Is Nakamura going to be alright?" he nodded.
"Don't worry about her, what we need to be worried about is how we're gonna get up there without being seen."
Ryuu looked above him and also questioned himself, there was a huge slope above them and on top of that was an enormous mountain, all that made it tricky to get up there and not to mention the cold,
'that didn't affect Rikuto and me because of our flames, even so, any wrong movement could make an avalanche.'
"Not that I care but, how are we supposed to get whatever we're looking for without being seen?"
Ryuu asked.
"Don't worry about that, we don't even need to enter their lands anyway, we just need to get underneath."
Ryuu nodded.
"We'll just have to improvise."
He nodded.
Ryuu entered sage mode to heighten his sensory range.
"Why can't we just enter through the place you entered last time?" Ryuu asked.
"Last time I was here I found a hole and used it to enter, I'm guessing they've covered it up by now, I don't see a reason we should take a risk like that."
Ryuu nodded.
'I felt two people behind us running in this direction, they were moving fast.'
"I have an idea." He nodded.
"I can feel two people coming, if they're samurai, it means they're patrol guards and we can knock them out and use them to infiltrate." He nodded.
We went towards them, they couldn't see us.
"Hidden mist jutsu!" Ryuu made a mistake so thick that it covered their eyesight.
We knocked them out and tied them up, then we sealed their chakra.
"That was easy, but I think that's the last simple task we'll have." Rikuto nodded.
