The clock on my hand showed nineteen forty-three minutes. I had just finished dressing and sat on the sofa waiting for Harsya's arrival. My gaze fell on the platinum ring on my left ring finger. I sighed. I have tried to take it off many times, but the ring seems to be stuck in there. This ring covers my engagement ring with Harsya. I twirled it again, hoping this time the ring could slip off my ring finger.
"The ring is beautiful, Zie," said Reina, another roommate of mine, when she saw me trying to take off the ring with diamonds sprinkled on my finger.
"Eh, Na, can you help me remove this ring or not?" I asked, grinning.
Reina drew closer, and my fingers pointed at her. Reina held my finger, her eyes glistening, admiring the ring wrapped around one of my fingers.
"Why? This ring is beautiful. It fits perfectly on your finger," Reina didn't take her eyes off the ring on my finger.
"This ring covers my engagement ring," I complained about a pounding chest. Every time I saw the ring, I always remembered the words of the woman who claimed to be my and Ali's son, Zeze.
"Actually, I thought this was your engagement ring."
"No."
Reina smiled, then tried to help me by holding my finger and pulling the ring, but the ring didn't move from its place on my finger.
"Use oil or soap, Zie."
"I've tried various ways but can't," I said desperately.
"Yeah.. just used it, unless you want to cut it," Reina laughed. "But it's a shame if you cut it. It's very beautiful,"
Someone knocked on the open door, and he did so politely. Reina and I immediately looked at the door and smiled when we saw Harsya standing there. Harsya looks very handsome in the casual clothes he wears.
"Brother Harsya," said Reina, Reina's eyes fixed on Harsya.
"Hi, Na," said Harsya as she stepped into the living room, then approached me and smiled gently. "Hi, darling.. '
I smiled and greeted Harsya, and I asked Harsya to sit down.
"Uh, it's only right that Zie is already beautiful. It turns out that she wants to date her prince," Reina teased.
"Hehe.." I blushed, my cheeks turning red. I went into my room to get my favourite sling bag.
"Where's Tia?" asked Harsya after not seeing Tia in the living room. Usually, when Harsya comes here, she is the most excited. Tia is very close to Harsya, and sometimes when they talk, I am the one who is ignored.
"After Asr, she was out. He said he had something to do," Rena answered quickly.
"Do you want to go now or later?" asked Harsya while looking at me when she saw me coming out of the room, smiling.
"Tomorrow!" I scowled.
Reina laughed.
"Come on, Rein.., let's go first," Harsya laughed as she took me to her car, which parked in front of the boarding house.
The journey to the Blue Cafe took half an hour, and we talked a lot during the trip, including my practice for the next month at a hospital in the city which is about three hours from here.
Arriving at the cafe, after parking the vehicle, we entered the cafe and from where the receptionist directed us to the place that Harsya had booked. This place is very busy so if you don't make a reservation beforehand, you may not get a place or have to wait a long time.
Shortly after we sat down, a waiter gave us a menu and wrote down what we ordered, then he excused me. Not long after our orders came, two plates of steak, a glass of strawberry milkshake, a glass of orange squash. Then another serviceman brought my favorite chocolate cheese grilled banana and some other snacks.
I looked at all the dishes happily, "I think I'm going home from here, I'm going to add a few pounds, here."
"Hahaha, you're too skinny so adding a few more pounds will make you look better,"
I just pursed my lips. We ate in silence, Harsya helped cut the steak on my plate into small pieces to make it easier to eat.
"When do you plan to leave?" asked Harsya after we finished eating the steak. He immediately took a sip of the orange squash he ordered.
"The plan is, we want to leave Sunday morning with Airin and Ria, so we can see the boarding house that we want to occupy, according to friends who have been there, they say the place is clean, tidy. Hopefully the costs haven't gone up."
"What do you want to ride?"
"Bus."
"Tomorrow let me deliver, I just happen to not be on guard."
"Eh, I don't like the two of them. It's already an appointment."
"I mean... take them all," said Harsya exasperatedly while pinching my nose.
"Awww, thanks, dear. You are indeed the ideal husband-to-be!"
That's what I like about Harsya. Even though we are in a relationship, she doesn't hold me back for herself. He gets along well with my friends sometimes, even he is more familiar with them than I am familiar with them.
I sent a chat to Airin and Ria so that on Sunday, they would gather at my boarding house because Harsya wanted to take us to the boarding house where we would see. My two friends immediately felt happy and praised Harsya.
