It was getting dark, the clouds slowly turning grey as they loomed over the city. While a few workers had left KNIGHTS early since it was a weekend, most of them stayed behind completing their extra rounds of investigation.
"What's going on in there?" George couldn't help but wonder as he packed his bag. Kyra had been running in and out of their office, her face wrinkled with worry and that perked his suspicion.
"I don't know," The robot which was cleaning the floor mumbled, continuing its work.
"Whatever," Shaking away his thoughts, he smiled at the robot and walked out, "Happy weekend, Bennie!"
"You too, Mr. Sinclair."
Kyra smiled at everyone who was leaving on her way towards the lift. She felt her stomach twist in pain again and she tried ignoring it by looking at the pictures in her hand.
