A few days later.
Unit Delta, SCD building.
"Is everything really fine between them?" Andrew asked walking inside his office, and Anna nodded along with Venessa.
"They still fight a lot, but at the end of the day they somehow manage to sort out their differences," Venessa added with a smile as he sat on his new chair and he sighed out loud.
"I think it's the cricket that's forcing them to stick together." Anna thought for a while and added, "Since it's the world cup season, and as they both are freaking fans, I am sure they aren't fighting much while living together."
"And, Chief, Kyra has been breaking her sorry records these days," Venessa gingerly added making him look at her confusion.
"I am not sure why, but every time they fight, she goes and tries cooling up things between them. And she is very careful around Kevin as well, so much that she even takes care of his every need!"
And when Chief Adams blinked and looked at Anna for a reason maybe, she sighed out loud.
"Last Monday, when we met Lady Atlanta, Kevin had a stomach upset and fell unconscious in the middle of the night. I think that had scared Kyra pretty much, and may that's the reason she is very careful about him."
"Yeah, I guess it's the reason!" Venessa agreed as well because though Kyra always had this look of killing Kevin, she would somehow calm herself and take care of him. Maybe she was scared that he would die because of her, and this was a very sensitive topic for her as her mother had also passed away because of her. At least that's what most believed and were afraid to be with her.
Venessa shook away her thoughts and asked about the meeting, "What happened to unit Alpha and Director Hong yesterday?"
Even Anna was curious about it that she had followed him right into his the moment he was back. Unlike their disciplinary committee, Unit Alpha was summoned to a higher court inside the palace, and Andrew followed them under their wishes.
"Chief Hans has been allotted to a lower post in the sub-branch, while Director Hong is suspended for a weak."
"That's it?" Anna couldn't help but frown at the punishment. She was upset that they weren't even hanged to death for their sins!
"They have strong political powers inside the KNIGHTS, so I am sure they had put some lame proofs claiming to be innocent," Venessa explained with a sigh. She was at least glad that they weren't left free without being exempted!
"And, joining a sub-branch is already a great loss! Chief Hans will fall as low as my level, in terms of power, if I am not wrong," Venessa added trying to cheer up Anna and Andrew nodded, as it was really some good news.
"But, you are not understanding Kevin! This device can save your life!" Kyra's voice came through the door and pushing it she soon entered, without knocking or asking for permission.
"But, you are not understanding me, Kyra! This would be so embarrassing and I am not even sure if I can face anyone in the unit even if this plan is a success." The frog sitting on her shoulder mumbled as Kyra gave it a side glance.
"Oh, you guys are fighting again!" Venessa smiled at them, partly annoyed that she had simply boosted about them in front of her Chief. They would never get along, would they!

Both defended themselves and Chief Adams couldn't help but smile as if it was something new. Instead of blaming each other, arguing about who was wrong, and why they hate each other, this pair was defending themselves as a team. 'We' was something new he had never heard them say together. And they were actually looking pretty good together as Kyra had worn a green top to camouflage his presence!
There is actually some improvement! He thought smiling at the bickering pair.
"I have found a device that could detect a person's feelings," Taking out her tab, she showed them and explained, "This would actually show if anyone likes you in your surrounding, if they have any feelings for you, and also with an accurate frequency rate. So, by using this we can find out if anyone in our unit likes him, and try," Clearing her throat, she added, "that cure."
"But will any be ready to ugh try that cure?" Kevin pressed again and Kyra shrugged almost making him fall down her shoulder but he managed to hold her tight.
"Sorry," Kyra mumbled adjusting him on her shoulder, and Kevin without any complaint nodded as it wasn't intentional and she did it out of habit.
Andrew blinked and Venessa smiled at his expression. Yes, they were actually getting along well!
"I think most of them would because I feel many likes you here," Anna added with a cheeky smile since Kyra's plan sounded nice. If they would find any girl with a strong frequency, they could make her kiss him if she agrees.
"But I am a frog now, Senior Anna!" Kevin grumbled making the other three sigh.
Oh yeah! Who would like to kiss a frog?
"But let's still try it out! We cannot just sit back and wait until you fall for someone, can we?" Kyra asked and the three sighed again. Yes, even she was right!
"What do you think, Chief Adams?" She asked as he was her only hope to convince Kevin.
She had been suffering hell taking care of him, and just wanted to get rid of him soon!
Andrew thought for a while and nodded, "I think we should try."
And when Kevin looked disappointed, he added, "I can order them to cooperate, and later Kyra will erase this memory using her spell."
"Yeah, that sounds perfect!" Anna agreed with a smile. Even Venessa thought it was a good option.
"Can you really erase memories?" Kevin asked looking up at Kyra's face, who thought it for a while and nodded.
"Yes, it's pretty easy actually! We just need to give them a potion and everyone will forget about it, including you!"
Kevin nodded, though he was embarrassed to death! Even if someone kisses him, he wasn't sure if he could face them in the future. But, since Kyra could erase memories, he agreed half-heartedly. Even he was tired of living with Kyra. It had been just three days, but he almost felt uneasy around her since their habits were pretty much opposite.

Lounge, Unit Delta.
"Why are even male workers here?" The frog grumbled, its eyes scanning the people present in that wide room.
"I just didn't want to miss any possibility." Kyra slowly mumbled, clearing her throat and he glared at her. She was probably out of her mind!
"Alright guys," Clapping her hands, she forced a smile at everyone as they awkwardly glanced at the frog on her shoulder.
"Thank you for your cooperation," Lightly bowing her head, Kyra added, "you don't have to worry. I will give you guys a portion and this moment will be erased from your memory."
While many nodded with an uneasy expression, a few nervously sighed as their emotions were at stake. It was not a surprise if their feeling frequency reached its highest value as many did actually have a crush on Kevin. And who wouldn't when he was young, handsome, cute, and also wealthy!
"To make it less embarrassing, let's all wear the bands of this device. This way there would be a neutral feeling, and the device would only call out the person with the highest frequency. I have set it like that, and you don't need to worry." Kyra explained, unpacking the box and Anna came forward to help her.
She passed bands to everyone including their Chief who frowned but still wore it, Kyra set up the cute modular square screen tab that had bunny ears like speakers. The screen loaded before an automated voice greeted them.
"Welcome to Love Bind, I am your simulator Piku." The screen loaded again and soon a guide was presented in slides, "First, you need to connect me to the 'Reciever/Crush' who would test the feelings of the 'Target' towards them. Please attach the blue band to yourself Crush, and let me test your heart rate."
Kyra immediately placed down the frog, and attached the band around its neck. Changing a few things on the modulator, she looked at everyone and sighed. This would be the most embarrassing scene in everyone's lives!
"You should wear one too," Anna passed her the red band that many of them had been wearing and Kyra clearly did wish to wear it.
"It's of no use, my rate would stay at zero for sure!"
"Come on, you need to fair!" Anna grumbled grabbing her wrist and put the band.
Kyra sighed looking at the band, and then at the frog. It was obviously feeling uneasy, but she needed to try it to get rid of her.
"Alright, I will start it now!" Pressing the start button, Kyra took a step and crossed her arms as the screen counted the number of targets in the nearby location.
"Please give me a few minutes to test everyone's heart rate and their feelings ratio," Piku's voice came through the speaker and everyone just impatiently waited, mostly the ladies!
"The highest frequency range is 97%," Piku declared after taking a couple of minutes, and it even added, "This person has a huge, unrequited crush on the receiver, and hence I declare the target as a true lover!"
And as everyone waited for the surprise name, Kyra felt her band vibrate. She looked down and frowned! Why was it bursting with hearts suddenly!!
And when her rate started beating in a heart-shaped graphic, her eyes widened in shock!
Wait, was she the true lover the bot was mentioning! The one who might need to kiss Kevin!!
No, way! She couldn't be right? >.<
