"So, you are telling me that my dad was a monster?" Kyra asked again and when the frog nodded, she scoffed out loud.
Crossing her arms, she looked away in dismay and then glared at him, "How can you even come up with such stories?"
"I am not lying, Kyra!" Kevin mumbled jumping towards her. He thought she would break out, cry hearing this story. But Kyra didn't even look sad, wait she wasn't even believing him.
"Oh, come on! If he was a monster, he would have never loved my mom." Kyra tried to justify her father's innocence. Her dad couldn't even kill a rat and how could he be a monster?
"Then tell me, why can't you remember their death? You don't even know how he died!" Kevin argued back and when she went silent, he questioned, "Do you?"
"Your grandmother sealed them."
"That's total bullshit!" Kyra grumbled glaring at him. No, her grandmother would never do such a thing. She was tough but not cruel to her.
