'We have to find him, Daryl said preparing to move.
'No wait!', Hardy calls back. 'You should know he's a suspect. I trust you guys but if you find him. Just let me know only. okay?', Hardy added looking at all of them.
'Okay fine, Sam muttered.
'Good', Hardy said and went out.
'Are you coming?', Sam asks as he saw Max still lingering. 'Will be out in a sec', Max snaps back and Sam went out with Daryl. Max knelt and smelt the scent of the body and he discovered it has a tiny scent of the one he got back in school. Then a figure appeared at the window.
'Why are you doing this?', Thawn asked.
'Because I think it's right and he's innocent, Max replied.
'You should know that a vampire can maul like this regardless of source or no source. That's what they are. They just feed on human beings with no extra value to them. We can absorb human pain, they can't. You need to be with me fully not him', Thawn said.
