After fleeing, the man who had not been attacked by Eden returned to his gang to alert his leader that they had been attacked by someone and that the gift for him had been disturbed by the little man. Hearing this, the gang leader who had an orange hair crest in the middle of his head, black eyes, a jacket with black sleeves with a huge white skull on his back, black cargo pants, and black boots began to get angry and sent his men who were specialized in tracking to find the man who had destroyed his good night of amusement.
His subordinates obeyed immediately because they were afraid of his class and his enormous physique which frightened them enormously.
After about thirty minutes, his men returned and reported to him.
"Little shit, don't expect that I go easy on you," The leader said in a visibly angry voice after identifying the person who had ruined his night.

It was past 5:30 p.m. when Eden and Athis had finally come to the central square of the city. This square was in the shape of a circle if one watched from an aerial view with a gigantic obelisk in the middle of the latter. This obelisk was entirely white, with golden stripes that went from bottom to top on each of its sides, and also had engravings on the white surface that were reminiscent of writing an ancient language.
Since the whole world was currently celebrating something, the square was also decorated. There were food stalls or games all around the outer part of the circle, while the interior was reserved for artists or dance floors. The square was so crowded and jovial that the two boys felt invigorated. The day had more surprises in store than they had thought, which was why they had been tired.
The evening passed like this, slowly but jovially. Each person seemed happy, which made Eden smile inside him. One of his fears, when he came to a world like this one, was that they would have to constantly fight monsters so that humans could create a stable habitat for themselves. He was relieved to see people doing this and to know that there was no danger on every corner.
However, if there was one thing that intrigued him was how did all these things come into place? What he meant by that was that his reincarnation had taken place just before the end of the tutorial, that is, just after the dungeon of the slimes, or rather the Colosseum of the bosses, so he did not understand how the whole system was set up could work so well.
It wasn't just that of course.
He also wondered how all these houses could have been built in such a short time, or how people could already be high level enough for him to see '???' instead of the usual presentation of a person. Of all these questions, what he was sure of was that the system would not have given people something free.
From what he understood of the systems, they wanted people to win things by themselves and not through outside help. He was also sure that the system had reincarnated him immediately after his death and not after time had passed. He was sure of it, but all these questions sometimes made him change his mind and just brought him even more questions than what he already had, thus bringing him back to square one.
He sincerely hoped that the academy would give him some answers and that it was not just fighting. Knowledge was a force too, sometimes even better than strength itself.
"*Sigh* Athis, do you know what kind of place the academy is."
"Not so much, at least, not for me. If you would have asked Aether I think he could have answered you, but not me sorry" Athis replied as he looked towards the ground.
"It's not too important buddy," Eden told him while lightly patting his back with his hand. "I had just become a little curious that's all. I just hope we don't come across as arrogant or spoiled rotten brats. Just thinking about it makes me want to put them back in their place" He continued while having a boring face. Eden hated seeing children do certain things and then go to their parents to avoid being scolded by the adult they had done the thing to. Of course, these two cases were different, but for him, it was the same thing. What is the difference between a spoiled rotten child and parents who don't scold their children? None.
After hearing this, Athis felt a little better. It seemed that Eden wanted to be friends with him as he comforted him every time he was at his lowest. The majority of people would have already let off steam on him if they had seen how much he lamented about his fate. However, Eden seemed different. He didn't know why or how he felt about it but he was just happy. Happy that a person was finally there, by his side. Happy that he finally had a friend, a real friend.
Time passed rapidly after doing all sorts of things in the main square, and in the blink of an eye, it was already 7:00 p.m. There were only 30 minutes left before the fireworks and if he wanted to get the best view possible, they had to leave for the hill now.
Knowing that it would take them about 25 minutes to reach their destinations, the two boys left immediately.
On the road, other people were going in the same direction as them. It seemed that the hill was a more popular observational purpose than it suggested.
So they quickly arrived at the top of the hill. The latter was extremely beautiful. Some flowers were placed at the very top of the hill where people could sit, which gave a pretty relaxed atmosphere. There were also trees with mostly pink leaves that were extremely beautiful. These trees brought back some memories from Earth to Eden, but he quickly chased them away. There was no point in mixing two lives that were different from each other.
They then sat on the ground near the flowers and trees. The view of the city during the night was simply beautiful and the two boys couldn't help but take pictures.
Quickly, noises were heard in the distance.
Shioooonnnnn ~ ~
Shioonn ~ ~
Shiooonnn ~ ~
These noises were the fireworks that were being thrown into the air. There were dozens and dozens, all of different colors or shades, and all having different shapes. The show was simply grandiose and he wouldn't have missed it for anything in the world.
However, this show wouldn't have been like this if they were not at the top of the hill. From above they could see the whole show and it was just beautiful. Even words were not enough to describe this scene because it was so extraordinary.
"You know Eden, I've always dreamed of seeing something like this with a friend and thank's to you, this dream come true" Athis said with a smile on his face and a few tears streaming down his.
'Aw, who dared to treat this child as if he was trash? He is far too precious for this world, Eden thought with a beautiful smile on his face.
"It's just the beginning Athis, we're going to experience a lot more things you'll see" Eden replied who made Athis smile when he heard this.
'I hope things stay that way. This is the first time I've met someone not trying to use me' Athis thought deep inside him. He was so happy right now that if he could freeze time so that this moment could remain eternal, he would have done so without hesitation.
Time passed like this, without any more words. The two friends stayed at the top of the hill even after the fireworks were over and people were gone. All that was left were now the two of them. They wanted to stay at the top so they could keep the best memory possible.
Unfortunately, some would say, all good things come to an end.
"Boss, they are the ones who ravaged our group this afternoon," said a voice that came from behind Eden and Athis.
"Finally I catch you, little bastard. You made me walk more than I ever did and you're going to have to pay for it. A man with an imposing physique replied. This man was the one who wanted to end Eden for ruining his evening with one of the women who was going to be brought to him. Every action had its consequences and Eden had to pay the price.
"*Sigh* how come someone like you came after so many beautiful scenes, and at the worst time in addition. How despicable of you" Eden said in a clear and crisp voice so that even the people behind him could hear it.
