King Thomas's face was so disheveled when he saw his son and daughter-in-law return to the palace. For Prince Theodoric, it was normal for him to receive gloomy looks from his father, while for Princess Ivy herself, even though she was used to being treated lowly by those who were higher above her, but seeing King Thomas, her father-in-law, she still wasn't very used to it.
"Are there any signs you're pregnant?" asked King Thomas matter-of-factly.
"Father! What do you mean by talking like that?" urged Prince Theodoric in surprise. He grabbed Princess Ivy's hand to give her strength.
King Thomas chuckled. "Every night I hear your wife's screams and sighs. Isn't she pregnant yet?"
Princess Ivy's face turned red. This time she felt like her father-in-law humiliated her. Princess Ivy then smashed the table in front of King Thomas with the power of her eyes that moved like giving telepathy.
"Brakkk!"
The sound of the table splitting in two. Making King Thomas and Prince Theodoric who witnessed themselves surprised. Prince Theodoric looked directly at Princess Ivy, his wife. But he didn't say anything either.
"What the hell? Who would make such a stupid thing?" asked King Thomas, exclaiming with surprise still visible in his eyes. He didn't think that his daughter-in-law had done this.
"I think it's a warning to you, Father, that you speak kindly to your fellow man," said Prince Theodoric, pulling Princess Ivy back to their room.
Princess Ivy was silent when she arrived in their room. She lowered her head with a scarred face. Afraid that her husband would be angry with her.
Then Prince Theodoric grabbed her chin and lifted it to look at him. His face showed sincerity full of love for Princess Ivy.
"Why did you hide me when you have magic, Ivy?" asked Prince Theodoric gently.
"You know that?"
Prince Theodoric nodded. Then one hand began to be naughty to untie every rope that tied his wife's corset.
"I-I ... I'm scared. I'm scared if you're embarrassed to have a wife who has magic," answered Princess Ivy nervously.
Only a shake of Prince Theodoric's head gave her. He even smiled. Kissed his wife's sweet lips then let go.
"I'm not ashamed, my wife. You are the most beautiful thing I have. My love is very deep for you," he said.
"You're not going to tell anyone are you, Theodoric?"
"Of course not. But I want to ask you a few things about how you have this magic," said Prince Theodoric.
"Whatever I will answer, my husband."
Princess Ivy breathed a sigh of relief when her husband finally found out. And what made her even more relieved was that Prince Theodoric had managed to untie her corset.
"After we shower together, I'll ask you a question. Without me accepting refusal, so now, let's take a bath together, Ivy," Prince Theodoric said, pulling her hand towards the majestic bathroom.
Princess Ivy's face turned red. The beautiful things her husband had to offer would always end in a creaking bed and a shriek that was tiring but satisfying to both of them. She could only nod and see what Prince Theodoric wanted to do with her.
***
The love that was so burning in Prince Theodoric's eyes for Princess Ivy was evident. He even seemed to be crazy about his wife. Princess Ivy herself felt happy because she was so loved by her husband.
Since getting married, Princess Ivy doesn't even know what her husband is doing. Because from the start, Prince Theodoric was just by her side without leaving her. For all she knew, Prince Theodoric was involved in the construction of a second Kensington palace for the place they would live in. How much it cost and such, Princess Ivy didn't know anything about it.
There was a knock on the bedroom door, Princess Ivy then opened it and saw servant Zehron standing in front.
"I am sorry to bother you, Princess, but dinner is about to start," servant Zehron said to her.
"Thank you, servant Zehron. I will wake my husband then."
Servant Zehron bowed and saluted. He then left and Princess Ivy was now starting to wake her husband.
Apparently, Prince Theodoric had opened his eyes, facing the roof of the room. He glanced at his wife and smiled.
"Theo, I was just about to wake you," said Princess Ivy.
"I woke up when servant Zehron knocked on the door. So, time for dinner?"
Princess Ivy nodded. "That's right, my husband. Get ready, I will prepare suitable clothes for you."
"Ivy, tonight, looks like I'm going out to meet my friends. Would you mind if I left you here?" asked Prince Theodoric, with his elbows supporting him.
"Of course, I would not mind it, Theo. As long as I know, I will be at ease."
"You are the best! And I love you, my darling."
"I love you too, my only one."
Prince Theodoric began kissing his wife with groans that revived him. But they could hold back because dinner with King Thomas and Queen Amelissa was about to start.
"But what time will you be back?" asked Princess Ivy after they finished kissing.
"Looks like it's midnight. Servant Zehron will be with me. Do not worry, my wife.
Princess Ivy nodded with a smile and she left. She started picking up her husband's clothes while Prince Theodoric was getting ready in the bathroom.
Thinking that her husband would come home in the middle of the night, she wondered, was her husband a man who drank alcohol when he was hanging out with his friends? Then, would he get drunk so badly?
Suddenly an idea popped into her mind, she should ask servant Zehron and confirm everything. Because Princess Ivy wouldn't let her husband get drunk and then play with harems that might tempt Prince Theodoric. Because as she knew, there was always a harem when the men's gathering was taking place with alcohol as their main menu.
The mere thought of Prince Theodoric with the harems made her so jealous. In fact, if servant Zehron is unreliable, then she will step in to protect Prince Theodoric, her husband, from worldly traps.
