I was now lying on that huge bed, and again I found myself reliving that moment once more.
I thought for a moment that this could be real, but I put the thought out of my mind, there was no chance that he would like me. And of course, neither did I, at least I thought so.
After that kiss, we didn't say anything else, he just laid his head on my shoulder and then we left, we stayed in the garden until nightfall which prevented me from going home, again.
I went back to that huge room and didn't even take off my banquet clothes. It must be dawn by now. I looked at the clock on the wall and it read 00:20.
I took a shower in the bathroom in the bedroom and put on a nightgown. I slept very comfortably.
After a few minutes, I was fast asleep. I felt something lying next to me, and I remained static.
Terrified and not knowing what to do, I grabbed the first weapon I had in front of me, a lamp.
I turned slowly with the lamp in my hand and when I was ready to attack a very familiar voice said:
- You don't want to kill your fiancé, do you - James. I felt a great relief that gave way to anger.
- You scared me to death, I almost died. And what are you doing here? - I asked irritated.
- I'm sorry," he said laughing, "I felt very lonely in that huge bed and I thought that you should feel the same way, so I decided to visit you.
- Ah, so you missed one of your "friends" and thought I was one of them and came here.
- I didn't miss any "friends" I just wanted some company... can I stay here? - I said with a puppy dog face.
- If I say no will you leave? - I asked, already knowing the answer.
- No," he said, hugging me.
- I let you stay here and not hug me.
- I can walk away if I want to... but, I know you don't want that- He spoke in my ear, giving me goosebumps.
- What are you insinuating Mr. James? - I said, pulling away abruptly.
- Nothing... -He turned the other way.
It took me a while to fall asleep, it was strange to have James so close for so long.
