Pride and privilege go hand and hand. But when pride and ignorance relate to a disease of the mind, they become dangerous. Akito Tanaka and Mashiro Watanabe were "destined" to be together. You could look at this in many different ways. First, they were promised to each other through family ties. They grew up together and spent lots of time getting to know each other. What happens when one mind assumes that nothing can ever be changed in a relationship? What becomes of the relationship when one looks at the other as an equal partner? And the other considers one a sibling? What chaos can this cause in a young girl's emotions.

And what happens when the boy who is eager to become a man loves another woman? Chaos tears people and separates emotional baggage. Greed, lust and miscommunication cause many untold strife. At Fujikawa Academy a city within a city known for its academics, sports, and theater. The academy had shopping plazas, a food court and different shops. Students lived in dorms or at home. Students received a monthly stipend that was used anywhere in the academy. Students from all over the world fought to attend the academy. Lunch time arrived and Akito and her best friend Nana, discussed Akito's relationship with Mashiro. Nana allows Akito to go on and on about her relationship with Mashiro, fed up Nana lets Akito know exactly how she feels. "Let me stop you before you drown further in your delusions.

It must be nice to live in denial. Reality can be daunting. I wish I could be carefree and a hopeless romantic like you. It's funny how much you are oblivious to the truth. You must be sicker than I thought, maybe you should go lie down in the nurse's office".

"Why do you feel that I need to go to the nurse's office, I'm not ill? And what may I ask is my sickness"? "I would say it is love sickness, but I am afraid that it's worse than that". If any man makes you feel like you need to change your entire being, then he is not the one for you. You have a superficial life and to be honest I am embarrassed for you. Because I am your friend you deserve the honest truth and I don't want you to get hurt later, I feel that I must protect you before you invest so many years into loving him".

"I hear your argument and it is very sound. I feel that you want to be me so bad that you are making up this drama in your mind. I pray that one day you get a love that is real like ours". "For the record, you are like my sister, and I know deep down inside you know the truth. It is painful to hear from a close friend the truth. You're hurt and deep down I know you know the truth; the pain is talking so I am going to excuse your behavior today. Mashiro is dating Adria and its very serious. So, what are you going to do about it"? "Stop spreading lies, I don't want to hear it". "If you want proof, just look over there. "Fine Himura, just do what you have to, I want them broken up as soon as possible. Jut handle it "Mr. Y". Do it sooner rather than later. I want to wipe that ugly smile off her face." Akito's day was going from bad to worse. She became enraged and wanted revenge on that dark, curly headed giant. Akito was saving herself for Mashiro and he betrayed her in the worst possible way. She hoped Himura could come through for her. Adria had to be punished for ruining her life. Akito feels that Adria has to pay no matter what the cost.

If Akito really wants to make a deal with the devil, then she better be prepared to sleep with the enemy. Akito needs to understand the danger Himura poses to her soul. Himura's family is one of the biggest crime syndicates in all of Japan. They all have hidden tattoos that can only be seen under a magical black light that has been passed down for generations. The Kobayashi's are ruthless, only members from the Kobayashi clan are allowed magical tattoos. Each senior member has to get a tattoo. Each tattoo needs to feed off of the souls of its victims. The larger the tattoo the more kills you have under your belt. Once the soul has been removed, the victim's body turns to ash and disappears.
