The water rippling towards her, Aribelle looked up from the pool's surface to see what had caused it to become unsettled. The scene she had seen before disturbed by another person's presence; it had disappeared back into the water's depths along with the nymphs as they approached. Raising her head slowly Aribelle was surprised to see that Cassius had returned to the thermal pool.
His clothes cast alongside hers on the shore, he had entered the water. Stopping to stare down at Aribelle as he stood beside her, she was mildly reassured to see that it was Cassius this time and not some vision that gazed back at her. However, Aribelle's relief was soon replaced by something else more profound, once she observed the intense hunger their golden orbs conveyed on to her. Unmoving from her seat in the shallows, Aribelle could not prevent her gaze from wandering mischievously downward.
