His ashen hair and usually placid expression unsettled on his boyish face, she proceeded cautiously but without fear. Knowing that Marten was probably more terrified than herself of his volatile powers, she only felt sympathetic towards him in this moment.
This being the first time Aribelle had actually witnessed Marten's magic manifest to this extent, she could not deny her concern. However, it was only for Marten who possessed the daunting task of grappling with this magnitude of power at such a tender age.
