Soh:(A bit annoyed). What the hell were you doing beside the ocean that made you scream?.
Annie:(Sat on the bed with her head bent low in fear). I'm sorry dad.
Zina:(Sat closer to Annie in the bed). Why did you scream?
Annie: Mum, nothing happened. I'm fine.
Soh:(Panting in anger). It's better you're fine. if I see you near that ocean again, you won't like what you will see. (He left the room).
Zina: Annie please obey your father and never go near the ocean. I don't wanna loose you. (She hugs Annie). Come let's go for a walk. (She holds Annie's hand as they both went outside. They discuss as they walk). You see, your father is just trying to protect you and everyone in this community.
Annie: If no one goes beyond the reef?
Zina: Yes, your father told me when he was still a teen, he really wanna know what's happening beyond the reef so he got into a boat and sailed in the ocean with his friend who pleaded to go with him. When they passed beyond the reef, they met an unfriendly wind and storm which made their boat sinked Into the ocean. The friend of your father couldn't swim as he tries to escape death. Your father tried saving him but his friend drown to death. Since he couldn't save his friend, he wants to save you and his people.
Annie: Oh, I see
Zina: We're all safe in this community and everything we need is provided. (They continue to walk as light fades).
