It is still very far before we will reach the base and I can only pray that I will make it. I will not let go until I know that Lisa is safe and that they will be able to take care of her. Since her father is the Admiral and there might be any charges against her, he would be able to get her out of it. I also know that the Navy soldiers are tracking us and that it is only a matter of time before they find us.
But once again, I will not give Lisa any of this information because then she would just stress even more than what she already is. I know that there is a lot of confusion between us right now but I glance over at her and I see the beauty that is staring back at me. I can not believe that I got so lucky as to have her next to me. I have been a bit of a Casanova in my days but for some reason, looking at her now, there is just nothing in me that wants any other woman again.
