I love the fact that she is concerned about me but I need her to understand that I will not let anything happen to her. I watch her take a seat next to me and then I turn into the pilot that I know I can be. I need to be the best. I need her to know that I know what I am doing and that I will get us out of here and most importantly, get us out of here alive.
I look at the controls in front of me and start to start up this beast between my legs. I can not help feeling a bit excited at the fact that I am going to test out this beast and see what it is capable of doing. I put my headset on and then gesture to Lisa to put on hers. She puts it on and then I say to her.
"Can you hear me?"
"Yes, I can"
It feels strange to see her sitting next to me and hear her in my ear but on the other hand, she immediately brings that peace that she always gives me when she is in my ear. Then I say to her.
