I finally saw my last patient and this day felt like it would never end. But I am glad the day is over and then I remember that I have a dinner date with Steve. It is amazing that the entire time that I dated Steve I could never remember our appointments but now, I remember. I look in the mirror and I wonder if I should put on something nice.
I have a closet in my bathroom for this reason. I would sometimes go from my office to dinner or my appointments would run late and then I would just get dressed here. I look through the clothes that I have here and I decide that I would like to look good tonight. I put on my black number and then start to make my way out of the office.
"If you can just do the last file, then you can go home. Thank you"
"Thank you, doctor. Have a nice dinner"
"Thank you, I hope so too"
