BRIAN
I am face to face to the one woman I never wanted to see again but I know that everyone should face their demons. I guess my demons came a bit earlier than expected but it is all worth it if I can see Lisa again. She wants to know what I am doing in her office and I do not want to tell her the truth. I take an audible deep breath making sure she hears me and then I say.
"I do not know if you are aware of my near death experience that I had on my mission?"
She lifts her eyebrow and then she says, still with her arms folded.
"I know everything that goes on in the air, yes…"
"Well, then you must be aware of the person who guided me through my trouble since you are the head of the air traffic controllers…"
She frowns and she clearly does not want to listen to my story and then she says.
"Yes, I know but what does that have to do with anything"
"Well, I just feel like I owe her a thank you"
