As I put the phone down, I start to wonder if I ever will talk to him again. I am still in shock about what I just told him. I know what I meant to say but the words that came out of my mouth sounded more like I wanted him to come back to me. I know that it is probably more true than what I thought. I do want him to come back to me. I do not want him to come back to ship for the Admiral but I want him to come back to me.
He seems to have stolen my heart completely. Then I turn away from my station and give an update to the Admiral. I do not tell him exactly everything that we talked about be enough to keep him happy. Then he says to me.
"I will make sure that we send someone if he gets closer to the safe area"
"Yes, sir"
