I am so happy that I could somehow make her know that I am also thinking about her and that I want to come back to her. But I have to focus on what is happening in front of me as we will be at the target in a few seconds. I get on the radio and make contact with Jim.
"Alpha Fox 02 come in. Over"
"Reading you clear, Bravo Romeo 05"
"Ready for action?"
"Always"
"I will go north and you come in from the east side. Is that clear? Over"
"Loud and clear. Over"
Then the target becomes visible and there are three targets. Each team is to attack a target. We are inches away from bombing our target when the surface-to-air missiles detect us. This does not stop me from bombing our target as Jim takes out the missiles that are aiming for me. I quickly update our progress.
"We are under fire but the first target is destroyed"
