The MMA had continued to turn a little to face away from the wreckage and put a little distance between the two of them before facing towards a ship much further away.
It remained still for a moment before firing off a large projectile from the front of the ship where a large cannon was sticking out of.
The cannon was a much larger and more powerful version of the railgun based weapons and had much larger rounds that were fired from them.
The first round had been loaded and fired in its normal shell shape which had metal plating surrounding the outsides until they had been fired off further.
The plating had fallen off the main part of the large projectile that had headed straight towards the ship that was in its path.
It moved so quickly and carried that much force that it arrived at its target without giving the enemy any time to prepare for its arrival.
The moment that it had been fired had signalled their demise and those that were able to witness it were all left in shock.
The first shot had been lined up well and once it was fired, the projectile travelled very far without stopping and tore through its first target and kept going through anything that blocked its path.
The first ship had suddenly exploded once the projectile had passed through and the next one had done the same while another ship had been left greatly damaged.
Anyone on the crew that was on board that remaining ship had been caught up in the huge force that went by them so they were either thrown from their ship or towards somewhere else which caused them further harm.
Lafitte was busy struggling against the small creatures when someone had stepped in front of him and removed the spear sword from the place that it was stored near the shield on their arm.
Val stood in front of him and wasted no time as she had thrust her spear sword towards him.
The heat that came from the spear sword had been very high and the amount of energy that came off it had been on very dangerous levels which left Lafitte bewildered once he had blocked the spear sword with his own weapon. 'Damn..'
The plasma weaponry was given out to few people due to how lethal it was to just about anyone.
Just like how heat based attacks could add more power and help break past stronger defences, the plasma weapons were able to have the same effect and produce even greater effects.
The estimated temperature that was created around the edges of the weapon was somewhere around six thousand to ten thousand Kelvin or eleven thousand to fourteen thousand five hundred degrees Fahrenheit.
Even if the blade had not reached that that stage right away upon being activated, it had started to release heat from it and continued to increase quickly as time passed to the point that anyone standing in its way would be able to realise how dangerous it was.
It was the type of weapon that could burn and pass through all kinds of defences with little difficulty and anyone that tried to block it would suffer greatly.
The first clash had resulted in just that as the weapon in the hands of Lafitte had been destroyed and he had to retreat back several steps before taking out a gun.
He quickly opened fire on Val but she raised her other arm and the shield on her arm had suddenly moved.
The shield was not an ordinary shield just like her spear sword and it had been made using many types of different technology that could be found in different parts of the world.
The shape of the metal shield had suddenly changed and moved according to the will of Val to place a hard surface blocking in front of herself which blocked the bullets that had been fired towards her.
If there was any kind of similarity to any other technology that could be found in the world then the shield had mostly resembled the different Dials that came from the Sky Islands.
The Iron Shell Dial was able to emit a stream of 'iron cloud' which had the strength of iron but the clouds weightlessness and ability to change shape which had been something that was of great interest to Alyssia.
That function had been added to the shield to provide more versatile usage of a shield based weapon for defensive and offensive purposes.
The shield blocked the many bullets before changing its shape again as it was sent toward Lafitte.
There was a large amount of shock on his face as he saw that his change of tactics were useless. "Damn!"
The more that he had experienced when facing the crew on the MMA, the more frustrated and helpless that he had become.
It was like the person behind everything was a crazy genius that had thought up all kinds of ways to mess with their plans.
One outrageous thing happened followed by another as the MMA had taken its second shot and destroyed another ship while a large serpent was tearing through any other ship it came across.
Just as he started to believe that there were no more surprises, Val had suddenly spoke coldly. "Stop playing around and use your full abilities."
Her order was heard from those nearby and there was a sudden large release of Electro that came from the white furry creatures.
"Gyaaa!"
"Aah!"
"Guwaaa!"
The losses of the Blackbeard Pirates had started to drastically increase which made many wish their captain would be recovered faster so he could help turn the battle back in their favour.
Many of Alyssia's experiments that had been available for use had been released to allow her few crew members to be able to hold off the Blackbeard Pirates.
