Chapter 345 - Archie returns home

During the time that Alyssia spent with her family, she had made a small trip to get help to pull her ship up along with Archie who was still sitting on board.

As the ship was pulled up with the joint efforts of the Mink tribe, Archie came forward with a pitiful look on his face.

He kissed the ground and wailed. "I am finally home! Hey Alyssia what took you so long?"

During the time that Alyssia had been fighting and meeting up with her family, he had been stuck on the ship and was making sure there was no damage done to it but he had expected her to be quicker.

Unfortunately it had slipped her mind as she was to focussed on reuniting with her masters and family.

Alyssia shrugged lazily and let out a slightly embarrassed tone. "I forgot.. sorry."

Archie was about to complain again but he then revealed a defeated look. "Well.. no harm. There was enough to keep me busy with on board."

Pedro circled the large ship and raised a brow. "So this is your ship! It sure is impressive!"

Archie patted his chest triumphantly. "I was part of the team that made this! The MMA is my baby."

Alyssia rolled her eyes and stated. "For sure.. you did have a role in building and helping design it in the beginning but over the remodelling process, you have contributed less."

Archie crossed his arms and said angrily. "While I do know how to build things with wood and metal, there are limitations to what I can make. I am not like you and Nica who are so busy with those things you build. By the way, why did you not bring her back? She must want to meet her master again?"

Alyssia shook her head and said. "I need someone to look over the Creation members that followed along and they need to find a place to settle down. Raijin Island will make the perfect natural base for their work."

Archie asked. "How?"

Alyssia explained. "The island itself is dangerous but it also has many advantages. It is not allied with the World Government, it has a powerful weather defence, it has a natural energy source to make use of but those that wish to wield it without being harmed must have the right tools or knowledge. That is where we come in and so does Creation. They can set up a base there and help Raijin Island develop."

Archie nodded. "Mm.. I understand but are they going to be using something like those weapons and suits you made before?"

Alyssia replied calmly. "Indeed, I did have that idea. Those would be quite compatible if modified a little. We can develop an electrical unit there."

During the Rainbow Mist arc on Ruluka Island when Luffy and his crew went there, Alyssia had briefly made a trip there to see the progress with the technology there and to stock up on the various skills, among them was the electrical weapons and mechanical suits that were used by an old dictator who was actually an old pirate that had been overtaxing the people to build the Rainbow Tower.

Each of those type of designs had been sitting aside and Alyssia had been drawing up her own version but upon arriving at Raijin Island, she saw that it could be used another way.

They could be recharged by the natural environment and attract thunder strikes towards themselves then redirect it towards their enemies but it could also be used in other ways like collecting the raw energy or redirecting it away from vital pieces of land which should not be damaged.

With the protective clothing worn to protect the person inside, they would be able to avoid harm while doing their task whether it be collecting energy, protecting the land, protecting the civilians or using the energy to achieve another purpose like defending the island from invaders.

Although the people of Raijin Island were not that technologically advanced, they did possess many types of special materials which could be used to further improve what Alyssia had been working on and with the assistance of Nica and Creation, they would quickly show excellent results.

Pedro saw that everyone was busy with their own thing so he went to rest while Alyssia went back onto her ship that was resting on top of Zou.

Archie went to explore Zou and got reacquainted with his home that he had missed and went to see many that he missed.

Alyssia was inside the MMA and held a Sea Snail in her hand. "How is it?"

Carrot's voice sounded a little upset on the other side of the call. "You.. you went back home already but you still want to call to brag and see how I am progressing. To mean!"

Alyssia rolled her eyes and calmly explained. "That is because I trust you and Tristan the most to carry out each of your tasks."

Carrot seemed to have calmed down a little and replied. "We are slowly leaving so the call could cut off at anytime. Are you not going to wish us luck?"

Alyssia replied. "You do not need any luck because I trust you. Just be careful out there and keep your crew safe. Always be cautious of new types of weapons and environments."

Carrot replied as it was slowly cutting off from her end. "I will do my best! I..outsi..so..beau..ful..s..ma…star.."

The call was cut off and Alyssia looked up towards the sky after she stepped out of the room.

She then gave a small salute towards the sky. "I would have loved to come along but there is too much to look out for on the ground. Perhaps when I have time then I can make the trip."

Alyssia was feeling a little envious towards the sky division of her crew that had been split up because they got to venture into space where there were unknown things awaiting and untapped resources and sources of knowledge from alien races and planets.

She was well aware of the dangers but she trusted that Carrot and Medea could make up for any potential dangers with their individual abilities.

Their first destination was a marked location that had been gained from the Space Pirates so although it was not that big of a journey, it did open up for new discoveries and possibilities since it was a place that was used to trade within space.

Among the various samples that Alyssia had collected from the Space Pirates there had also been several alien based creatures and humanoids or hybrids that she had been working on but they were in the later series of her experiments.

One of the races that she collected from had some similarities to aliens from different movies that she had seen while some just had a slightly animal appearance with larger foreheads but among them was one that had some similarities to the alien race from the movie Predator.

Although it lacked the high grade technology and stealth capabilities, it did possess green blood which was difficult to wash away and made it easier for those marked by it to track due to the bright colour, its temperature and the smell it gave off which they were able to track with their natural abilities.

As Alyssia looked at one of the small pods, she placed her hand on it and said to herself. "Should I stop here? Is this enough? Could I venture into something more deadly? If so then perhaps something that has high reproduction and are annoying to kill.. while the green blood that glows in the dark is useful, it does not take their opponent down with them if they are wounded or die."

She then shook her head and sighed. "Xenomorphs from Alien or Zerg… anything like them would be scary for their ability to multiply and hunt but if they are not controlled then all life could be wiped out. However the tough skeleton and acidic blood… could it be possible? While it is possible for me to make all kinds of lifeforms.. making such a life form would be a whole new territory since it would need different builds.

A queen that can lay eggs..a collector that can follow the queens commands and collect resources or living prey, a hunter or assassin that is built to hunt.. a guard to stay by the queen during her weak state. Then there is the obvious questions if it could be made, could that be put towards a humanoid race and not just an artificial animal."

While she did not know what was out in space, she knew that there may be some inhabitable and dangerous planets out there and new possibilities for her research.

All that she lacked was the samples, the materials and the necessary knowledge to achieve what she had within her mind.
