Chapter 333 - Alyssia vs Ideo Finals

The boss had look of seriousness on his face as he had added. "Remember that we have rules! You must stick to them at all times! No weapons! No killing! You must win by submission, knockout or knocking your opponent from the fighting platform."

The match had started after his quick reminder and Alyssia started focussing on her opponent.

Idea looked towards her seriously and kept his arms up readying himself for a punch.

He kept studying her movements to allow a clean hit but he seemed to have her guard down so she was full of openings.

However as a XXX ranked boxer, he knew that his opponent was either provoking him or fought in a more relaxed body state.

Others would think that Alyssia was being overly confident but Ideo thought differently as he had seen her perform in her past fights.

He kept up his footwork as he circled her and looked for a suitable opening but suddenly Alyssia had went onto the offensive for the first time.

After practicing her defence and her danger sense, she was able to carefully get used to using it more so she had put herself into a more offensive and dangerous position.

The punches came one after another as the first was narrowly dodged and caused a big explosive force which followed by the other one being punched out.

The danger sense had activated the moment she had dodged as she could sense the incoming punch to the direction that she had escaped the first punch.

She narrowly dodged it with a slight movement of her body as she approached closer to Idea.

Ideo was experienced and knew what she had in mind so he intended to gain more distance.

As a Longarm Tribe, his reach was greater than others and when his arms were released as he punched, he naturally had the advantage over Alyssia in a long range fight as his style had helped to make up for the close combat too.

He could alternatively switch up between attacking from a larger range and close range but the closer that he was, the better the power of his punches would be as he would be punching through his opponents body and push them back or knock them flying through the air.

They had quickly both repositioned to a more advantageous position as he was out of her reach but he could still hit her so many punches followed with great power as he rained Destruction Cannons upon her.

Alyssia clicked her tongue. 'I could have easily broke through and found a safe route forward so that I can attack him but that would be no fun. Lets try this!'

There were many indicators or ways that she could move towards where she sensed the least danger but she had ignored them because she wished to test Ideo.

Her body started to follow her commands as she dove right into the biggest area where there was danger and lifted her leg upwards.

A foot crashed into a fist but it had not been a straight attack as Idea had used.

There was a slight deviation as the force of Ideo's punch was hit a little away from the middle of his fist and had caused his attack to be slightly disrupted as he could feel a strange force that was pushing against his explosion.

The arm was pushed a little to the side while the impact had helped to disperse the explosion effect of the punch but Ideo was quick to respond as another punch was thrown out.

He kept adjusting his stance and footing so that he could control the fight but Alyssia kept responding with similar methods as she was testing the effectiveness of each of her techniques against the Destruction Cannon.

Impacts and shockwave attacks came one after another as they hit the Destruction Cannon each time.

Sometimes fists were used but most other times she used her tail and feet.

The occasional use of her Iron Body and Paper Art had showed how well she had gained a mastery over them and she was able to sync them up to her danger sense to allow her to know when to better make use of those techniques.

When confronted with an attack that she could not avoid and there was no escape route, she had to make use of Iron Body and Paper Art to endure the hits to her body until an opportunity arises but the same was true for the Paper Art that allowed her to expertly dodge attacks.

Even if she was trapped in a tight trap, when the two skills were used together she was able to survive until she could see a safe route but she doubted that a time like that would ever arise considering her great speed that would allow her to escape many difficult situations that others could not.

She was also able to get a more accurate read of her danger sense to see what level of danger sense was the limit to what her physical body could endure with or without using techniques or Haki so that she could more accurately use it in battle.

From the viewers seats, Val sat while analysing the fight and spoke quietly. "It has been analysed and master has already missed more than seventy opportunities since the fight has begun. What is her purpose for doing do?"

Yvie looked over and understood that the robot lacked greater understanding of the nature of people. "Predators play with their food and hunters prefer to weaken their prey before they go for the kill. There are many types of predators, hunters, prey, fighters, warriors and so on with different traits so it is hard to determine everyone but for your master it is quite simple. She is enjoying the battle and does not wish for it to end so quickly, even if her abilities are far beyond normal people… she is always looking for a way to improve herself. When she feels she has had enough, she will end it but for now it is partly for the audiences entertainment too."

It was obvious that a short fight would not be something the audience wanted to pay for during the finals, most match ups could be ignored but the matches of the final days could not be.

While Alyssia was testing some things out, she was also aware of the audience watching so she had made sure that it was not boring for them as she created more excitement in the final round.

Ideo's fists were hurting as he felt like he was punching a hard metal each time which even his special attack could not break through.

He had several wounds on his body and Alyssia had a couple of pieces of singed hair on her arm and leg where she had endured some attacks.

Ideo looked a little tired after fighting for a long time and using his special technique many times but Alyssia remained calm and full of energy as she smiled. "Time to end this."

She kept moving forward and moved according to the positions that had the least or no danger and kept changing her movements to match each punch and adjustment that Ideo had made as she moved between each attack like she was dancing.

Before Ideo could take back his arms to their original position, he could feel something push onto his stomach and he was launched outside of the fighting platform.

The ending was obvious and predictable as he was knocked outside the fighting platform because Ideo did not know how to use Haki which meant that he could hardly be registered as a real threat by Alyssia even if he did have a powerful technique.

Alyssia was already a master martial artist with many techniques of her own and there was a big difference in terms of each other's physique so Ideo could hardly put up a decent resistance against her but he had shown some improvement of his own as he tried hard to defeat her so his loss was not a bad thing.

Liushi stood up within the audience as he jumped from his seat. "It is about time! Good fight!"

He had developed an interest in the techniques of Ideo and wished to fight him one day but he knew that he had to conceal his strength according to Alyssia's orders so he would have to wait until the time was right.

However he did not know that Alyssia had stolen the techniques and would make them her own and Val had also been analysing the battles so they both were able to make their own versions of them or at least gain some insights from them.

The boss stepped onto the stage and handed over the champions belt and applauded. "Congratulations! You both fought well and this year we have our first female champion! Is there anything you would like to say as the winner of this competition?"
