In the last tournament of the World Martial Arts Tournament in Dragon Ball, there was a participant who had been taken over by Kami who had the goal to kill his evil other half that had split apart from him which would kill him or he would seal him away.
To maintain his cover, he had acted in a clumsy and scared manner as he fought each opponent and won by sheer coincidences.
In fact, it was just that his attainments and strength were too high even when within a human body so he was able to fool many with his act as he progressed through the tournament.
Alyssia had been doing the same as she was inspired by him but there was also another reason.
She was slowly grasping the danger sense from her Observation Haki as she moved closer and positioned herself where she felt no danger before she could counter her opponent.
Her clumsy act continued as many opponents within her block had been eliminated.
A series of accidental head, tail, elbow, knee, foot and fist collisions happened as her body had hit her opponent to knock them out or remove them from the platform as the result of her tripping, cowering, sneezing or yawning.
"Not this again!"
"This girl is so lucky!"
"Is she lucky or does she just give her opponents bad luck?"
"I am glad I did not enter this block!"
"Me too.."
"Did you see the last guy?"
"Yeah, I cannot believe that he started out all confident but now I doubt he will be capable of producing children."
"It is karma! He should not have used such foul words against a young lady."
"Something is strange though.."

"I do not know! I just feel that she is somehow familiar."
"I have that feeling too but I cannot quite remember who it was."
There would always be those that may recognise her and not underestimate her but it had been a long time since she had appeared in public.
The last time she had been seen around the world was as the champion of Karate Island as a picture had been released in the newspaper but many did not remember something so far back that happened in another part of the world.
There was also the fact that she had changed slightly in appearance since then so even if they did remember, it would be difficult to match her with her previous photo taken.
The final result was obvious as she had qualified for the main tournament with ease but she made sure to collect as many skills as possible since so many people from around the world had gathered.
Even the smallest piece of knowledge could possibly be helpful to her as it may be something that she was lacking in.
During her free time she had visited the dining hall and the contestant room while she was looking over the posters on the wall that explained the rules and had mentioned the reward for the winner.
Imaginary berry symbols had appeared over her eyes as she saw the reward but she was still unsatisfied with that amount.
Where her crew were within the viewers seating, they had already seen who had qualified for the tournament and the betting area had been opened up.
Unfortunately while Alyssia was able to fool many others, she had not been able to fool the organisers who had recognised her abilities since she was a champion of another martial arts competition.
The information network and abilities of those working under the boss of the tournament could not be underestimated and she had already given out her identity for her own purpose so she could not possibly trick everyone.
Instead of having a very large payout for those that bet on her and had won, she had a higher chance of winning as several others did too.
The crew members did not miss their opportunity though since they knew the final result.
They betted a large amount of berries and had placed their estimates on who would possibly place first, second and third.
After looking at the tournament as the balls were drew out by each of the contestants, Alyssia was on one side while the previous winner had been placed on far on the other side so they would not meet until the final so they had directly chosen who would come first and second.
On the fighting platform, Alyssia looked over towards the long arm tribe man who she was destined to fight in the finals and silently apologised to him for breaking his winning streak.
She had also thought back to the preliminary round where the large amount of staff had each checked every contestant to see if they were cheating.
They searched very thoroughly as they checked for hidden weapons and had even carried some tiny Sea Prism coated tools, those that had become weakened after they had come into contact with the tools or had hidden weapons or other things on them were disqualified.
One Devil Fruit user had tried to complain and resist but he was subdued again when touched by the tools.
One staff member had checked her twice because they believed that she possessed some type of power whether it be a Zoan or Paramecia but they were proven wrong each time.
A cynical smirk appeared on her face as the announcements had begun and the announcer had started hyping up the contestants each time. 'This will be too easy but it is not without its rewards.'
Her first matchup was against a man with a very strong grip but as he had locked hands with her, his face turned pale and he revealed a look of fear.
The hands were caught within Alyssia vice like grip and would not let go as she had walked towards the edge of the fighting platform.
She pushed him as she released his hands and the man had fallen down from the platform which had made her the winner.
As there were some mixed reactions from the crowd, Alyssia had returned to the contestant room and had started studying the skill she had acquired from Ideo which was the Destruction Cannon.
Although she was not a member of the Long Arm Tribe and could not bend her arm joint back like Idea had to pull off the technique, she still benefitted greatly from the overall execution of the technique along with the additional insights on how to create a fire or explosion based attack.
Those pieces of knowledge which had been suited to her or had been helpful enough when combined with her other fire skills would form her own new skill.

It was a very powerful technique with lots of potential but it was still a double edged sword to use unless she wore her protective suit to negate the disadvantageous effects of using it.
There was less of a rank in the skill due to the lack of combined knowledge from each skill.
Destruction Cannon had already been highly developed but Red Roc was still quite new while Diable Jambe still had much room for improvement but there were also other fire based techniques in the world that needed to be considered too so that it could reach the stages of a SSS+ grade skill.
Even Katakuri's own version of an explosive punch using his Mochi Devil Fruit abilities could be used to improve upon it a little if she had been able to come close to him but since she had just entered the New World, they were not yet ready to meet and there was also Kinemon who had mastered the Foxfire Style which was very advanced too but he had yet to appear in this timeline.
There was also the additional outcome of the technique which happened as more heat was created, it would become more powerful and deadly but would also be harmful to the user so she had to use it in moderation and control it well.
In between studying, she had occasionally watched some match ups that caught her interest until her turn came once again as she was participating in the New World Central Fighting Competition.
