In a room within the underground laboratory, a couple of days later there were many people gathered around a lying figure that was in a deep sleep.
Many instructions were noted in the documents that they held in their hands as they took one final look at it and had begun to ready themselves.
Ein was the first to speak up. "She has completely fallen into a deep sleep so we can begin with the operation."
Tristan wore a surgical mask over her face and took a deep breathe. "I am ready. We should begin right away."
Right afterwards many people began working and handing over tools as Alyssia was cut near her lower abdomen and opened up.
Many methods were used to open her up and keep her body stable during the operation until finally the core was picked up and moved near the operating table.
The core was then lowered into the place of where Alyssia had been opened up and was carefully implanted into her body.
After going over the final tasks mentioned in Alyssia's instructions, the core was carefully kept in place within her body in the location of her lower abdomen and then she was stitched back up again.
It took a long time until the drugs had stopped working and she was able to wake up with a feeling of weakness and a strong stinging pain where she had been cut but her strong vitality and healing abilities let her be able to endure and let her recover quicker than most so she was not too worried.
She spent a little time recuperating in her bed and kept receiving treatment on the place a scar could form, thanks to Tristan's careful preparation she did not have to worry about it scarring and even if it did, it would only be a light and unnoticeable scar left behind.
She sat replenishing her energy with several bowls of food and then listened to Tristan's daily nagging about taking care of herself properly.
In response to Tristan's nagging, she rolled her eyes and sat in a meditative pose as she began to sense the change within her body.
She felt connected to the core within her as if it was a part of herself and she could control of it but also make use of its various abilities.
Typically superpowers of various types drain energy to create the powers and make use of them so the most useful ways to keep using them would be using an energy based solution or replenishing that lost energy quickly by eating or just getting some rest.
Every cell within her body would become extra active and create the white Electro within her body so it would burn through a lot of energy to use Electro along with other physically draining activities but because of the Mink's better bodies, they can endure that for a long time unless they are in their Sulong form.
Whether it be cultivation based novels or superpower apocalypse novels that she had read in her previous life, one thing stood out the most for those powers and their upgrading of powers, using them more efficiently or increasing the amount stored within the body and that was the power core, power crystal or elixir field.
In most cases the core of a person's power is held within either their heart or their lower abdomen but Alyssia favoured the second one most.
The elixir field, sea of qi or the energy center are the qi focus flow centers which are important focal points for meditative and exercise techniques such as qigong, martial arts such as t'ai chi ch'uan, and in traditional Chinese medicine from her previous world but also from what she had learned from Kano Country in the One Piece world.
Using the combined skills of everything that she had collected, she created a power core or artificial elixir field that was biologically linked to her Lineage Factor and was made with her own wild Electro.
After it had settled within her body, it became obedient and tame and let Alyssia gain full control over the core within her lower abdomen.
Her continued to take many calm breathes in deep meditation and continued to control the actions of the energy within the core and activated the cells within her body as they began to create Electro but instead of channeling it right away outside of her body, she began to slowly send it towards the direction of the power core where the Electro was being refined to slowly increase the growth of the wild Electro within the core as the centre or root of the power contained within her.
She continued to refine her Electro like that for sometime before taking a break and then she attempted summoning the Electro from the core.
The activation and channeling of the Electro from the core was smoothly sent to her hands, feet and tail after trying it out in each place so she found no obstructions or faults with it but she also did not experience any delays in summoning it and did not lose any stamina after channelling it.
Compared to when she summoned Electro usually and lost a portion of her stamina based on how much she channelled, she did not feel any loss of stamina after using the energy within the power core.
As she sent the Electro back into her body and back towards her lower abdomen, the core absorbed it and began to replenish the energy that had just been used.
On her status window, a new stat appeared as a result of her operation and the success from using it.

Alyssia opened her eyes which looked full of life and she grinned to herself. "Ahahaha so this is it! How powerful will this be when it finally reaches its full potential.. I really look forward to it."
She started at one stat point since it had been newly created and had just been installed within her body so she did not have long to refine much energy into the power core.
Her current stats were already quite high and the power core seemed to work so that it matched up and limited itself based on her body stats until she can increase them.
For example her endurance and stamina could be stuck at around twenty stat points so once she reached twenty points with her power core, it would halt its growth until she raised her endurance and stamina up through training.
It is designed that way to avoid putting additional burden on her body but also to stop it from experiencing any overloading problems when a lot of energy is sent towards it.
As if reacting instinctively, it would protect itself and the host then expel or reject any excess Electro that was beyond its capacity while absorbing what it could but another method was to also drain itself of the stores energy while also refining the new electrical energy.
Any electrical based attack users would be up against someone that could take on their attacks and absorb it to make it into her own power so people like Enel, Nami, Vinsmoke Niji, other Minks and other types of electrical based powers or technology were nothing but ways to replenish any lost energy and increase the growth of her power core.
Enel believed himself to be a god of thunder but Alyssia was getting closer to that title with every passing day as she kept getting better control of her Electro and improved her overall understanding of the Weatheria knowledge she possessed and her improvement to her Observation Haki which let her be more familiar with nature and the world around her.
She was constantly comprehending new insights after leaving Weatheria and most were focussed towards thunder and wind but that did not leave out other things like shockwaves and the movements of the sea or land.
She could pick up if a volcano was about to erupt, if a sandstorm was about to head in her direction, a tsunami was coming, where a storm would begin, where thunder clouds were forming, where rain or heavy hail would begin falling or even picking up early signs of an earthquake before it would happen.
Her Electro skills had improved a great deal along with her wind based Finger Pistol and Tempest Kick but so had her mastery over her shockwave or impact like attacks from Eight Impact Fist, the Seventh Power and so had her grasp over the Spear of Elbaf Skill as they she continued to gain further comprehension over them and their individual natures.
When combined into one technique, her legs became strong and sturdy weapons capable of cutting and piercing through the toughest of things but even if she did not manage to, the additional Electro and shockwave effects would affect the enemy internally and cause great damage that way.
With the improvement of her Power Core, that power would only continue to grow to make her even more formidable.
Within her room, Alyssia took out a ball which was believed to be a thunder ball and calmly sat in a meditative pose with her legs crossed as she pushed the ball closer towards her lower abdomen resulting in it shocking her slightly upon contact and entering her body but then it was attracted to the power core within her body and the energy was quickly refined until the thunder ball was fully absorbed into her body and turned into her own power.
She looked at the stats again and it had now changed to two skill points as it had experienced a small upgrade.
Alyssia was very excited over the successful experiment but did not rush to make it grow further but instead began practicing to control the energy that remained within her power core to improve her control of Electro before letting it return to the core.
In most cases when using Electro, upon deactivating Electro it is dispersed and no longer remains or a small amount lingers within her fur or inside her body to be used later but now she could more efficiently use her Electro and keep it from dispersing after using it as she could send it back to her power core.
Many white sparks flickered all over her body as she continued to improve her body refining technique as the overall capacity of her electro and her control was continuing to improve.
Alyssia had been progressing at a very fast pace with her various skills, projects and body stats but she still was unsatisfied as she had a perfect image in mind of her end goal which required further resources, a large amount of energy and berries to be completely successful without any faults.
