Chapter 150 - South Blue #2

Among the group, Medea spent most of her time reading military and marine strategy books and a couple of others like Yvie and others joined to do the same asking her for advice on some parts to help learn some of the basics to improve their battlefield awareness a little more.

Each of them split into their own groups and began group study but Carrot seemed to have more interest in adventure based stories and some of the knowledge on electrical based applications.

Even if she had low science knowledge, she felt that this area in particular was well suited to herself who possessed Electro and had reached the limitations of practice with it leaving her with few improvements over a long time even after some hints from Alyssia.

A week passed by very quickly and a part of the crew packed their things then set sail again.

They continued to sail through the South Blue and after a couple of stops, they arrived at their intended destination where they had been scheduled to participate in an event.

Karate Island was hosting a large competition involving many types of types of combat with rules set for different situations like sumo, boxing, wrestling, jujitsu, karate, armed combat and even mixed martial arts.

This competition would be watched by many and spread out around the world as various big names begin to appear and win the champions titles of their respective style.

There would even be some individuals that would leave this island to become a member of the Marines or World Government or would take another path completely and become a pirate like Eustass Kid and Killer.

Since this event had been planned for a long time and appeared in the news, Alyssia was able to sign her and others up in advance and used the White Storm's name to arrange various things in the background.

Upon arriving on the island, a flamboyantly dressed man walked forward impatiently. "Are you guys the ones I spoke to earlier? Where are the stars of the show?"

Alyssia rolled her eyes as she looked over to Aizah who pushed herself forward through the crowd and pushed Ann in front of herself. "We are here. Nice to meet you, I am Ann's manager and her duo partner. We have arrived on schedule and are ready to cooperate with you. We have come from the Grand Line so you can imagine the difficulty getting here so I hope you understand our difficulties."

Although Ann and Aizah were still small time musicians who had performed in a live concert once so far, their fame had grown quickly thanks to the spread of their Tone Dials so they still were widely sought after to appear on various islands.

Even a place like Karate Island in the South Blue had heard of them recently and as they put on some shows in the South Blue on some islands there was a large spread of their recorded singles and album.

They were becoming widely sought after by many and this was Ann's first public appearance and big event that would be spread out around the world and gain her even more fame if everything went well.

The man clapped his hands together dramatically and shouted. "They are here! Take them towards the dressing room and help the star dress up."

Meanwhile Alyssia watched as Ann, Aizah and Liushi were being lead away by many assistants of the man. "Break a leg guys!"

She turned around to the others and began to explain. "We should have our names signed up in advance but the details of which competition you wish to join is still not completed so go check in when we arrive at the stadium booths."

Alyssia arrived at a booth and greeted. "Hello sir, I am here to register for the no rules martial competition. My name is Alyssia Lucine, female, sixteen years old and possess no Devil Fruit. My specialty is kicking!"

She had a very excited look in her eyes as she looked at the man in front of herself who looked like he was tired and irritated.

The man looked to be in his fifties and raised his head to look at Alyssia. "Kid, this is not something that you should be wanting to participate in. Go home."
