Tristan discovered a small figure with features that resembled a reindeer but was often mistake to be a racoon dog.
Upon spotting him, her eyes litup with amusement. "I can see you."
Tony Tony Chopper was hiding behind a tree but like his characteristic way of hiding, he was doing it in reverse which exposed himself to others.
She approached him cautiously and placed her hand on his head. "Hello, I am a doctor and am looking to learn about some of this islands medical knowledge. This place is believed to be a place with many medical advancements but it seems I cannot gain any access to them. Can you help me?"
Tony Tony Chopper looked at her and suspiciously asked. "The king did not send you here to trick me right? I will never fall for it you idiot!"
Tristan rolled her eyes while watching the idiotic tsundere display of him. "Never met him and do not wish to. I do not agree with his way of keeping all of the doctors under his control. I am a believer in the right to pursue your own path in your profession and not standing by when others are in need of treatment. I am also open to trading ideas and knowledge so that those within my own field can have the opportunities to grow and the profession can make further advancements to help treat things that have been difficult before. Ifyou know a doctor on the island, I would really like to talk with them and trade our experiences and knowledge."
Tony Tony Chopper was always eager to learn new knowledge and he felt as if he had found a kindred spirit so he exposed himself. "I am a doctor!"
Tristan looked surprised by this after seeing his small size. "Really? You are so cool!"
Chopper blushed and began his tsundere again. "Praising me wont get you anywhere, you idiot!"
Tristan knew that she had gotten what she wanted right away and was lead to Doctor Kureiha's hideout or current home.
After settling in and trading several of her own knowledge, ideas and things that she had learned from Zou or her journeys, she quickly fit in with the old woman and the small deer who ate the Human Human Devil Fruit.
One thing that was strange that she quickly discovered was the old woman's amazing vitality for someone so old so she kept an eye on her and tried to see where it came with from.
Upon nagging the old lady to stop drinking at such an old age since it was unhealthy, she quickly discovered the source of why she was able to remain so energetic.
The alcoholic drink that she drunk was not any ordinary thing but instead was a special mix of various medicinal herbs.
Since her sense of smell was strong she was able to quickly identify most of the ingredients but some she was not yet aware of so they must be from the island.
The old woman looked at Tristan opposite her who had almost cracked her age old secret and sighed. "Fine.. I will tell you since you have earned most of it yourself but I do not wish for it to be spread around. It will cost you too, I want a copy of the notes left by that Crocus you spoke of and some of your Mink's medical knowledge."
She much preferred to have Crocus' medical notes in exchange but the Mink's medical knowledge they had gathered over many generations was something that interested her. Since they were part human and part animal, it may help Chopper in treating his own body at times rather than learning through trial and error.
Tristan calmly thought it over and smiled. "Of course but you will have to pass on your own notes and give me a recommendation on different books that should be studied. Then it is a deal!"
The old lady sighed. "You sure are an annoying child, too perceptive and your senses are very keen too.. sigh. Fine then, it is a deal."
She knew that perhaps it would not be long before Tristan figured out the missing pieces after studying a little longer and being exposed to each of the medicinal solutions and herbs so she tried to swindle Tristan out of some of her knowledge that she was interested in.
She was use to charging large fees for her treatments and was a greedy old woman but her medical skills were top notch.
This was just another chance to swindle someone again before she was on the losing end but it ended in failure.
She had met the wrong opponent.
Tristan was far too attentive and worried about the old ladies health so after taking the medical wine away from her to stop her drinking habits, she quickly discovered her biggest hidden secret.
Worst of all, she had almost identified all of the ingredients used.
Lucky for hrself, Tristan had a personality that repaid others for their favours, contributions or teachings so she was more than willing to trade or compensate for what she had learned during her stay.
She had also helped Chopper in making his Rumble Balls so she had unknowingly stumbled upon the recipe for that too.
The rest of her days on the island was spent learning in that house, nagging the old lady to take better care of herself and occasionally coming out during the daytime to train with Carrot and the others.

Within the mountains, deep snow and pure white was within the eyes of many who dared to journey therre.
Many dangerous creatures and dangers from the environment awaited anyone who journeyed there.
However a large group of people were seen dressed in thick and warm clothing and were trekking up the mountain together.
In order to build up everyone's stamina and strength, a training plan was drawn up for everyone to begin exercising and climbing through the heavy snow up and down the mountains.
The extreme cold conditions were perfect for high intensity training but also for a militarised training session to increase the crews teamwork and cooperation.
If someone had run out of energy and needed to rest or go back down, they would be supported by the others.
One day upon climbing up and down the mountain, the group encountered a large group of large rabbits.
Very quickly a battle broke out between them forcing the large rabbits to flee.
This repeated many times unttil they became more wary and no longer attacked.
They watched the group train from afar until a small group started to approach curiously.
The group feet a strange sense of familiarity and kinship with one of the people among the group.
——————
Lapin tribe on the mountains.
Many lapiin grouped together and hunted as a group in the mountains, towards human intruders they would attack and cause avalanches just too defeat or kill the intruders and get them out of their territory.
The lapin are carniverous and deadly creatures that posess frightening fighting capabilities that cannot be underestimated.
Many noises were made from them as they noticed the intruders in their territory once again.
After the first battles that resulted in their defeat and resorting to their trump card upon fleeing, they were met with the many people again and again.
Everyone was fine and was able to survive with the help from those among them that had better strength and survival instincts.
After many defeats they instead backed off and observed more carefully the intruders.
One of the intruders had a unique appearance that had similarities to themselves.
Suddenly many of them went back to discuss their findings and one of the elder lapin looked at his tribe and responded. "Take me."
Upon arriving the next day, the old lapin who had keener senses saw her and let out a noise. "This feeling… no mistaking it. It is similar to us. Is this.."
Another lapin cautiously asked. "What?"
The old lapin approached cautiously and slowly towards tthe intruder and sniffed her displayying his curiosity and friendliness when suddenly the other person suddenly began to hold onto him in a friendly manner and rubbed their cheeks again him. "Garchu!"
Upon having close contact with her he was able to detect a powerful force or bloodline within the other parties body that was superior to his own.
Upon being released, he bowed down on the ground in reverance. "My queen!"
The others approached and asked. "What did she do to you elder? Should we get revenge?"
The elder shouted back in his tribes own animal language. "Fools! Hurry and bow to our queen!"
The others were stunned uupon hearing this. "What?"
The elder turned back to the intruder and expressed his apologies. "I am sorry my queen, please forgive my tribes ignorance. Please allow us to serve you!"
Meanwhile that certain person did not understand their words and tilted their head to the side looking confused.

After Tristan and Tony Tony Chopper had been called to the location where they were, many lapin were crowded around Carrot expressing their love and respect foor her.
Chopper talked to the lapin and then explained thensituation. "It seems that miss Carrot has been recognised as their new leader or queen. Many within this tribe have expreseed to follow you."
Carrot tilted her head again. "Really? Sounds fun!"
Tristan sighed. "You do realise that you now have to take care of them from now on and provide them with food and clean up after the troubles they have caused. So if you do wish to bring them… you must be responsible for teaching them how to act and not leave the task to others."
Carrot nodded. "Okay. I will be their queen. Alyssia once said that we need strong fighters if we wish to survive on the seas. They are really strong!"
Tristan thought to herseelf. 'I am sure that she meant strong ppeople not beasts. Animals are much more diffiicult to manage and control.'
The next couple of days were spent training and getting the help of chopper to introduce the tribe of lapin to thee crew along with diiscussing what would be happening next.
In the end it was decided that ten lapin would join on board the battleship.
However it did not end there..
During that time, Archie had unknowingly picked up a group of his own.
Five hiking bears had followed him back and expressed their desire to take him as their boss.
They each had very high manners as they bowed upon seeing others nearby and used a mountain climbing pike like a walking stick.
The scene was very comical from the others point of view but for Archie, he was feeling a little embarrassed.
In the end, he had to accept since the hiking bears began to bow down and remain there until he accepted.
After that day the crew had expanded by adding an additional fifteen crew members or pets.
Carrot began to teach the lapin how to train and some methods to increase their fighting strength while Archie taught the hiking bears some grappling and wrestling methods.
At first many were wary around the large animals but after growing familiar, many began to approach them and get closer.
