Chapter 95 - Achieved purpose

A week was spent docked at the island while Alyssia took part in the soldiers training and sparring sessions.

Eventually she found out why her fame points had been increasing so much from the newspapers that had arrived on the island.

The moment she read the paper, she tossed it aside in anger stating that she will have her revenge.

Her actioned defined the publics views of herself but they can also be used and twisted by others to harm her.

She was not yet ready to say that she was at a place where she wished to be known by everyone but since it had happened and allowed her a massive amount of points per day she could not complain too much.

The name 'Ghost' A L was not too bad of a name given to her and they had little information about herself so if she suddenly appeared one day with a new alias or bounty, it would be difficult to identify her or connect her to the ghost identity that they had given unless they were able to somehow connect herself who is now in the North Blue to something that happened by the Red Line.

After some strict management if herself and her crew, it seemed as if Judge had ordered for her to be observed at all times.

He still did not seem to trust that giving him a prophecy was the true goal of her crew.

It would be hard to blame him for that though, as a ruler and the owner of very valuable and coveted scientific knowledge, he had to guard what others wished to get their hands on.

Perhaps he had experienced many attempts but quickly solved any problems that may have arisen over the years.

Now with the help of his clone army and his genetically modified super children, he has a much greater control of the things around himself.

Alyssia was able to run into Judge a couple more times and purchased the expert mastery of his main skills along with Niji's electricity skill.

The amount of points she had received was truly surprising at first but after carefully considering that the Four Emperors, Blackbeard, Seven Warlords, Revolutionaries, Marines, World Government and many people within various organisations or islands would have read the newspaper article.

Although some may have been interested the first couple of days and already forgotten about it by now, many in power would still remember her name and actions which provided her with more than enough to match her spending needs on Germa.

Upon seeing the Germa family one last time and discussing some things about the prophecy and their options, she began to pack up and quietly left with her crew.

Meanwhile Judge looked to his side and asked. "Did they truly show no suspicious places? Have they tried to talk to recruit any of my people or try to gain any secrets while they have been here? If they have lets blow them up as they are leaving."

Reiju shook her head calmly. "Nothing suspicious.. they either stayed within the housing provided or made trips to their ship or the training grounds. They did not seem interested in approaching our scientists and did not talk to them."

Judge thought about it and asked. "Have you found any information about them? Are they really not spies? How couldn't they suddenly just appear out of thin air?"

Reiju replied. "No information besides some appearances on some other islands but nothing about their origins.. however their animal form suggests that they may be from the same tribe as a known pirate named Pedro. They had been asking around the places that they had arrived at about our location and that is all. Either they are fans of the Germa 66 or they truly did come looking for us to pass on this prophecy. Whether it is real or fake has yet to be determined."

Judge nodded. "So it is the Mink tribe.. although I do not know of their true power and numbers, this Pedro was a famous character during his time on the seas and now another talent has shown itself.. From my sources there is also another capable one within Big Mom's crew named Pekoms. It would be best not to provoke such a group with such high combat abilities and potential unless we are sure we could handle their retaliation and unless we have enough reason for doing so. There is also this 'Ghost'… do you think there is any connection?"

Reiju pondered for a moment and then slowly voiced her thoughts. "Strange, their ship is equipped enough to pass through the Calm Belt but they still lack the proper means to travel through safely.. however three Sea Kings or their parts have been sold around two of the islands they have visited so it could be possible that they have crossed and battled the Sea Kings while crossing. This suggests they have high combat abilities and their captain may even be the ghost. However I find something very strange.."

Judge looked intrigued. "Go on.."

Reiju continued. "The bounty and newspaper article suggests that the ghost is cruel and bloodthirsty but some parts do not add up. Why massacre civilian or merchant ships but only injure many marines? Is it because of fear of retaliation from the marines that they only mildly injured them… then why would they suddenly massacre others a little later? I think those that were killed were not ordinary people.. perhaps it is best to look into the underworld for further clues as it must be connected. As you know, the price for Minks is very high and many would be tempted to capture her. Perhaps her appearance in G-5 triggered a movement from the underworld. There also seems to be something strange going on within the G-5 base or within the Marines to be able to cover something like this up. Possibly a spy.."

Judge nodded. "How interesting… keep an eye out for what they do next. They should be worth watching."

Since he had no proof that Alyssia and her crew had come with ill intentions and they were now leaving after not doing anything that had been expected, he had no choice but to let his suspicions go.

He could not just mindlessly start a war with a racial group that was still wrapped in a veil of mystery but had been shown to produce powerful warriors that usually appeared within the world every five to ten years.

The Minks are usually known to be peaceful and friendly unless provoked so the newspaper article had many suspicious parts.

If she was truly the 'Ghost' then the combat power she had shown during her time on the island may even be only part of her true power and she was still able to defeat his clone soldiers without using her Electro.

After leaving safely, Alyssia wiped the sweat from her brow as her nervousness had finally settled down. "Phew.. he sure is vigilant but who could have ever thought that even with all that monitoring, I still got what I came for hehe… all that is left is to study it all and thoroughly experiment with everything that I have gained."

After pondering over some things, she decided to make a couple of trips to buy the needed parts, supplies and other things for her experiments and while she is busy with that, she can also begin exploring the North Blue and spending her many points that are constantly earned daily.
